I am stuck on "Make the Moon", only able to get 106m as the biggest, I was wondering if there are any techniques that would help me out, especially since I can't imagine people getting 800m

So, plz post ideas for helping me out and such

When I first got this game, it happened the same to me. But I could reach 800m just with some practice. Practise makes the diference. Play that level until you can clear it.
Maybe this is not very helpful, but it's my experience, that's the way I learned.
However, this could be very useful!

Don't stop moving. Make sure you move past the size markers. Learn the layout of the level. Honestly, it all comes down to practice.

Is there a map of the "World" With the size markers?

No, not really.

There is a 12m marker and a 60m marker. After that, islands appear beyond where you originally were. Like in an expanded area to the point where the "flat" world is full of stuff.

Spend some time exploring instead of rushing to get the goal. Look around using the look feature after you size up so you can see where some of the new stuff is. Once you learn the level, you'll be able to bust out 800m each time you play it.

Arg, just tried again, I had to restart the level cuz I got stuck in a bunch of trees, kept losing stuff, but not fast enough to get out of the trees...


That is the third time in the game where I got stuck... :eek


I also get agitated for the fact that I can't roll up walls, I just lose stuff...
In the "We <3 Katamari" demo, it seems to never happen... :frusty

WLK did improve on the physics and such so don't take it to heart too much. KD is a lot more picky in that area. Especially when it comes to items flying off.

But I can't roll it up.

So, how much times bigger must I be to roll an item up?

You need to be the size of the item to pick it up.

I decided to have another go at it, and I finished it, with 5 minutes to spare!
That was a tremendous improvement!
I am so happy, I am going to finish teh rest of the level now...

I thought you get comets for completing under a specific time, how did I get a comet on MAS 4 when I used ALL the time???

comets are completing the goals in a certain amount of time. doesn't matter if you run out the clock.
