Description: Morphing

this is very neat to watch if you are an artist, or into computer manipulation.
i have the software to do this at home but would not take such a daunting task on!

watch the video and see female faces morph from face to face for 2:52. i like watching their eyes.

isnt it pretty? i am using his picasso one tomorrow for 4th grade. picasso is known to have change styles more than any artist and his morph sequence shows that well.

this makes me dizzy

i like picasso, hokusai, degas pastels, magritte, and cassatts females.
i like oldenburgs sculptures a lot!

That's pretty cool. How do you think He/She did that? :wonder

I mostly only like Haring. I'm not really an art person. I prefer digital media when it comes to art and some forms of sculpture. but i respect picasso.

its simple to do, but it takes patience and practice to do it that well.

there are morphing software packages that do the hard part.
you need two images.
you see them both on screen.
you put a dot on image 1 on her eye.
a dot appears on image 2.
move the image dot 2 to HER eye.
repeat as many times as you want for the eye, nose, chin, lip corners, etc.
the more dots you use the smoother and more gradual the morph will be.

this artist chose images in a sequence that flow together easily and beautifully.

the file for that sequence would have been huge!
