Title: Versions of Katamari games

Hi,

First post here and not sure if it is in the right place but i have a question. I now have a japanese PS3 but my versions of Katamari are US (English language) versions. Now that my PS2 has died i can't play them anymore so was wondering if any of the asian versions released contain English language? I know the Japanese releases don't but does any one know about the Korean versions or if there was a Hong Kong release with English language?

Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure but you could always e-mail Namco tech support to find out.

If the Japanese version doesn't, I would think the Asian version doesn't either. But I'm not even sure if the ps3 is region free so that it'll let you play games from another region on it.

I don't have one yet so I can't really say for sure.

the ps3 is not region free from what i heard.

most namco games can be played with japanese and english text (no matter where they were sold). instead of localizing games they make it multilingial upfront.
as for katamari i dont recall, as it wasnt the kind of game i needed to goof the menus much.

Thanks guys, i know the text aint that important but it's funny for some of the cutscenes.
The reason i asked about korean or hong kong versions is that i know God of War japanese version is japanese only text and speech, but the korean version has english. Was hoping Katamari games where the same.

Maybe look it up on a site like playasia.com to see if it give the languages?
