Title: 1m34cm4mm on Eternal 1
Description: I finally got it -- here's my walkthru

PsyMar - April 19, 2007 01:45 PM (GMT)
I even recorded the entire run; my only question now is what store I should go to to buy a wire or whatever to record it from the VHS tape onto my computer.

That, and whether or not anyone really wants to see it given it took me 30 minutes and I'm sure it can be done much faster.

For the record, I didn't get the bird's nest. Here's my route:

1. Got tiny stuff on table, like thumbtacks and stuff; didn't really need to probably
2. Dice on table
3. mah-jongg tiles on table
4. caramels on table
5. Batteries on table
6. Erasers on table; hit 10cm
7. a few 10cm cones and all shogi tiles (was going for number of objects too, and thos e disappear around 20cm)
8. superglue bottles on porch
9. magnets on far side of plants (disappear earlier than you'd think)
10. more superglue bottles
11. a few pingpong-balls from pyramid
12. paperbacks
13. row of mice just inside house
14. lego house in living room
15. parsley; up to 20cm
16. leaflet; lost leaflet; got ballpoint pens in chair; got leaflet again
17. chopsticks, then head into kitchen; focus on small stuff (e.g. soap and sponges) -- didn't get much
18. eggs around piggy banks in hallway
19. rest of 10cm pylons; seems I missed about 6 9-volt batteries on the table
20. bridge of green lego blocks; now 25cm
21. water pistols going towards 20cm pylons
22. 20cm sign and pylons
23. onigiri (rice balls)
24. turn back; get sparrows and a few number counters
25. sit where all the various balls are falling to get them all; golf balls, two baseballs, and a light bulb
26. a couple more number counters and a golf ball up to 30cm
27. to basement; flashlight, jumboman figure, two spiders,
28. straight through to back yard to get jumboman figures and tools and milk bottles
29. shoes in back entrance and one piggybank
30. rushing through house, picked up fruit basket on table and some tissue boxes and kokeshi dolls and a mosquito coil
31. just barely got piggybanks at edge of basement (can't get these much later and missing them can ruin a run)
32. big kokeshi and a sparrow and we hit 50cm
33. flower pots on bottom step and a croissant
34. dandilions and fluff
35. shoes
36. shogi board and teddy bear and other mosquito coils
37. drawers out of cabinet and sparrows off of lamp on table
38. head into kitchen; get cans of stuff; clean up almost all small stuff on ground
39. walkie talkies out back stairs; then back in
40. kokeshi and big kokeshi on way to bathroom
41. clean up toilet paper and air fresheners from bathroom

46. go up on tables and get everything; onto kitchen tables and get everything
47. girl's backpack near sink in hallway; hashimochi in corner of kids' room; everything on stairs in kids' room; color TV in kids' room (probably got too early?) up to 90cm
48. to porch and outdoors; garden pots, plates, shogi table, seat cushions, cucumber plants and rulers, hit 1m
49. hit a few cinder blocks (couldn't avoid)
50. bucket and Nik from kitchen
51. stereo and speaker from kids' room
52. drawer from cabinet in kids' room
53. other speaker and "bundle" from area between kids' room and ktichen; hit 1m10cm

67. stepladder from hallway
68. rest of 50cm signs/pylons
69. some stuff in road; 1m25cm; shouldn't have gotten this yet
70. shopping basket, bucket, and daruma from top of road
71. oh crud, I forgot the hose reels I usually get at 1m! Got gym uniforms and water tap trying to get them. They can be a run-killer.
72. managed to get two of four hose reels
73. plants and fruit along wall of this section; bucket or two; detergent as well. got third hose reel; now 1m28cm2mm
74. bonsai, color TV, daruma, flower pots and butch going along right side
75. climbing wall for bonsai and fishing poles; also got cinder blocks, appliance billboard, and two cubbies in ladles on the right side of the area while falling down the wall. Got ALL the daruma though, including the one on the left straight-vertical-wall that's hard to get. Now 1m30cm9mm
76. mandarin carton, morning glory, both sets of flowerpots, and a cubby-in-a-fruit basket that was still sliding around.
77. some cinderblocks, a flowerpot, a ladle, and the bamboo blind, and some more cinderblocks; 1m31cm6mm
78. tabby cat, black cat, cubbies and ladles and buckets; 1m31cm8mm

80. cat and ox carriage, then garden plants/lucky cats going up towards roof; got two drink crates as well; 1m32cm9mm
81. antenna off roof; I fall down trying for the birds' nest; 1m33cm1mm
82. major pains trying to get back to road due to oddly shaped katamari.
83. miyoko takeda from road; rest of stuff in road; drink crates; and bamboo fences. Leaving tel. poles for now and I didn't get the old comics. 1m34cm0mm
84. back up to roof, careful so as to not lose anything, except I did so I had to go back and get it. Still lost old newspapers which I get back later. run through house again; got nothing
85. two more bricks in yard; still 1m33cm9mm and still haven't made it to main part of roof
86. finally make it up to roof; lost something not sure what. Cleaned up real good. 1m34cm3mm
87. Ah, it was just a brick. Got it back.
88. try again to fall down to get bird's nest; fail again
89. get tel phone brace at end of road, and previously-lost old newspapers.
90. get tel phone brace in corner; finally get old newspapers and old comics; and voila, 1m34cm4mm (barely) except I think wait! I haven't gotten the laundry poles yet, or the bird's nest! Is 1m34cm5mm possible?
91. Massive fail trying to get the laundry poles results in losing a millimeter which it takes forever (more like 5 minutes but it seems like forever) to get back.
92. Quit and run with my WR tie. Only 988 objects. I really think 1m34cm5mm is possible.

1m34cm5mm looks really tough. If it's possible then it's just barely. I just completed a 1247 item run (beating slowbro's cyberscore record of 1207 :) ) where I collected all the daruma, all the poles ,and the bird nest. I did have trouble not losing things while getting the last few items(especially the one tough to get daruma). Still had 1m34cm4mm. I did miss some medium size items such as the scale in the house and two chest drawers, so who knows? It might be possible.

Oh and I'm a guy from cyberscore where I'm second for 1st place medals for KD, mostly on the strength of object records and a few nice diameter records. I'm also known for being one of the top Timesplitters players around(all three games) and I admin NGC-Elites, which tracks records for the TS games.

EDIT:

1256 item run. Still 1m34m4mm. Lost a comic book stack and a daruma while getting the nest and couldn't get them back.
