ive only got velvet and signolo.

been trying to get velvet all day and cant find him/her

ive looked at vixs guide and i know he's riding a shark near the beach.
ive got miki and slip but everytime i look for him, theres only 2 sharks and no velvet :(

do i need to be playing as a particular cousin to get him (im using slip at the moment) or is he there regardless of who you play as?

You may be searching in the wrong beach.
You should look for him in the large beach in the second town, where you can see umbrellas, palms, beachballs etc... Velvet won't disappear, so you will always be able to pick him up. Be sure you play alap mode and you already get the two previous cousins. ;)

yeah im on the beach after you get through the barrier in the school.
the one near the tide breaker things. ive gone around the entire perimiter of the level and its the only beach i could find with sharks on it. (near the big construction site with the red scaffolding type things)

ive got an australian copy of the game would that make a difference??

Singolo is in Saturn 50m. In the area that would be New York in ALAP5, running araound. As for the version, I'm not sure if it makes a difference at all. Just try to go out all the way in the water, Velvet should be on a shark somewhere. You also might be playing the wrong stage.

nah i was definatley on alap4 (old woman fan)
i know im not being stupid coz theres still a blank space where it shows which presents/cousins have been collected at the top of the screen when i speak to fan and since theres only 2 left...

i know where singolo is, im just concentrating on getting velvet first coz its bugging me :P

(btw i am dubers, i accidentally signed in with my username i use everywhere else and somehow it worked even though ive only ever registered with this site under we love calimari. i guess i signed up for another invision board without realising that my username would work on all invision boards - of thats how it works lol idk!)

both names were registered here at some point on the same day, you wouldn't have a profile if it was a name from another board(which doesn't work anyways, you have to register to post). no biggie though.

i though maybe he only appears randomly, or maybe every time ive looked ive either been too small or too big.

i did try getting to 3m then going to the beach collecting as little as possible and he wasnt there, then i tried picking up stuff nearby and checking back every few meters.

Hm .... you have the other cousins in the stage?

I tried to get some cousins according to the guide, and I just couldnt find them ...

What happened was that I had to run 3 times the stage, one for each cousin., If you pick up the first one, the second one will appear next time you play the stage (along with the first one), and then the third time (supposing you picked up the second cousin already) you play the level, you'll be able to find velvet

I think the cousins you miss in this stage are Foomin, walking where there are the picnics and so, then Miki, thats waiting in line on the fortune teller, and then later you'll be able to see and roll up velvet

singolo is in the make saturn (large) stage.

i got the other 2 on alap4 the other day when i was going through getting all the ones i missed. then i tried it agian at least 10 times trying to get velvet and shes still not there.
