Title: Who supports?

Lo7 - November 15, 2006 09:51 PM (GMT)
Slowbro and I are just trying to add some more charts on cyberscore (I'd like to see more charts even here) to make the competition difficulty higher and more various (just trying to find some other challanges to play again and again WLK, KD and MMK) on Cyberscore. We need someone who supports our requests (there should be 5 supporters) and then the charts will be added to the related games. I wish I had seen a lot of "user made challanges" either here (firefly completion time, diameter records for collecting objects levels and so on...).
If you want to help us, just support and post your scores both here and on cyberscore. :)

This is the topic:
http://www.cyberscoreforums.com/index.php?topic=5349.0

Please, vote only if you're really interested in. ;)

edit: I hope I didn't spam :heh
You all know cyberscore and I love that site. :woot

I hope this request succeeds because I really like the categories we're trying to add.

Just curious Lo7, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to, but what are your best times on those two?

Mine are

Ursa - 4:58
Taurus - 3:18

and Naota's Ursa was 1:55 :eek

If you want, it's definitely alright if you wait to reveal yours until Cyberscore adds the categories.

And sorry I haven't been very upbeat on the idea of adding categories other than these two. I just don't think very many people at all would submit scores :(

Lo7 - November 17, 2006 10:41 AM (GMT)
Ursa - Not tried yet.
Taurus - 2:55.

Naota's time is astonishing.

I'd like to add more charts because I got bored trying always the same goals. I just wanted to compete for something various (I doubt they would add the other charts I suggested, though...).

Anwonu - November 20, 2006 12:52 AM (GMT)
I'd really like to support, but I haven't even got them yet =x
And I don't know if that rule of "submit on 33% or more charts" applies to this kind of supporting too =x

Lo7 - November 20, 2006 01:23 PM (GMT)
Seems the charts is not going to be added. :S

Anwonu - November 21, 2006 12:07 AM (GMT)
Hm.. shouldn't this topic be on KD section? /o/

Lo7 - November 21, 2006 02:11 PM (GMT)
Yup. I got confused. But it doesn't matter as I asked also about WLK.

It may be posted on Katamari Chat.

vix - December 21, 2006 07:47 PM (GMT)
Oh, If you want to add new stuff here, feel free to suggest a list of new records. :) I don't mind.

Lo7 - December 21, 2006 08:31 PM (GMT)
I already suggested both for WLK and KD.

KD:
Ursa and Taurus completion time and charts for # of items (I really like this last one kind of challange)

WLK:
fireflies completion time, diamater charts for collecting items levels, racetrack, mercury, school alap played afap, # of items collected (for each level except of some)

I already got all records for this charts and I'll add them as soon as the new charts will be made.

vix - December 21, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
The charts for number of items, what exactly is that one?(in kd)

I'll add in Ursa and Taurus for ya.

As for WLK, do you think you could organize that list a little better for me so it's easier for me to add it in to the list. :china either pm it to me or list it here. :)

Lo7 - December 21, 2006 09:40 PM (GMT)
The charts for number of items mean try to roll up as many items as you can. Take a look here, for example: http://www.cyberscore.net/chart-5067.php
I mean this.

Okay, I do this here then.

As for WLK, charts that may be added:

Fireflies Time

Race Track Stage ALAP - completion time (I mean this: http://www.cyberscore.net/chart-18007.php, just think it is a meteor)

Underwater Stage ALAP - completion time (as for Race Track)

School Stage ALAP - completion time (as for Race Track)

Other kinds of challanging that could be added:

Cloud Stage - diameter (http://www.cyberscore.net/chart-18019.php)

Flower Stage - diameter

Papaer Cranes - diameter

Gingerbread House - diameter

Sweet Meadow - diameter

Zoo Stage - diameter

---

charts for # of items rolled up could be added but there's a problem. Proof can only be taken when the king is speaking, after you finish the level. If you won't take any pic in there, the record couldn't be proved, if a proof is needed. This doesn't happen on KD, since the game records the number of items you picked up when you see the constellation.
So, what to do? I'd be glad if them will be added, but you vix must decide.
There would be a lot of charts of this kind. Let me know.

vix - December 22, 2006 04:00 AM (GMT)
Some of them I could see adding but a few kinda make no sense to me.

Cloud Stage - diameter
Gingerbread House - diameter
Sweet Meadow - diameter

^ Those three have a set number of items so the diameter *should* always be the same.

Flower Stage - diameter

^ Same as above but since you can get flowers, I'm not sure you get big enough to even catch anything else so the size will be the same too.

The others could be do-able.

Lo7 - December 22, 2006 10:58 AM (GMT)
Nope, the diameter is *not* always the same. You can pick up a lot of extra stuff.

See here:

cloud diameter
http://www.cyberscore.net/chart-18019.php

flower diameter
http://www.cyberscore.net/chart-18023.php

gingerbread diameter
http://www.cyberscore.net/chart-18024.php

meadow diameter
http://www.cyberscore.net/chart-18022.php

It definetely changes, since you can get several items which add extra millimeters.

And if everyone 100%'s those levels, the chances of them getting the same score would be quite high.

If I knew more than just you would post their scores, I'd add in all the categories you suggested.

And I updated the KD board to show Ursa and Taurus times.

Lo7 - December 22, 2006 11:04 PM (GMT)
It's quite difficult get 100% items in these levels. And it's matter of rolling up the right object in the right moment (as happens to ALAP5) more than else. :)
So, the scores usually change a lot from user to user.

vix - December 23, 2006 03:24 AM (GMT)
I just find that hard to believe, but I'm sure I'm wrong. :)

Lo7 - December 23, 2006 09:13 AM (GMT)
Heh, I can assure it's so. I've played Katamari for ages, trying to compete in all kinds of challanges. :)

Lo7 - December 26, 2006 02:30 AM (GMT)
So, any chance you're going to add them? :)

vix - December 26, 2006 03:29 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I'll add them at some point over the next few days. :0
