I've been stuck on KD for months, and likely until KD2. Before that it was Resident Evil 4 and Simpsons: Hit & Run. I'm not really much of a gamer :)

Man, that has to be one of my favorite games of all time, specially if you play it with a gun.
Now I'm playing GT4, got hooked on it after getting my Le Mans cars for winning a 200 mile endurance race. I've been playing it like mad since then.
And of course, RC2 demo's. :heh
Radio F Software - June 26, 2005 10:57 PM (GMT)

King Katadama - August 6, 2005 04:42 AM (GMT)
I wish i could still play Katamari
vix - August 23, 2005 07:35 PM (GMT)
currently playing some ssx3 and a little bit of kd here and there, I'm trying to take a break from playing kd since the game will be out soon and I don't wanna get kd overwhelmed, lol
smiley-o - August 23, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)
I'm still playing KD, trying to break all the current records before the next game comes out. :P
I'm also finally getting around to playing DOOM (The first one). It's surprising how well that game has held up, though that might owe to the fact that I've only ever played the shareware version until now, and then I used God mode almost all the time. Some of these later mazes can be pretty tricky...
Gamingnerd - August 24, 2005 12:20 AM (GMT)
I'm currently playing the MMORPG hit Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst, cuz it friggin' PWNS!!!.......actually Phantasy Star Universe is gonna pwn, but for right now THIS one does! :) (I know there are other really BIG hit MMORPG's out there, but for a free download and $9 a month...THIS is a sleeper-hit!)
SocRATes - August 24, 2005 12:58 AM (GMT)
Kingdom of Loathing (www.kingdomofloathing.com) - can't beat a free game - and Dark Cloud 2.

Our town is the biggest hick town ever. Our EB sold out of ATV orf3 in an hour. And they can't keep a used copy on the shelf for an hour :-p
Of course, I don't play atv games :-p
I'm playing XIII, Mad Maestro, Burnout Revenge, KD, Rise of Nations, Twisted Metal: Head On, psp dynasty warriors, In the groove, DDRmax2, ddrextreme...
There's more, but I forget.
aaron - September 25, 2005 11:59 AM (GMT)
We love katamari and... Er, that's all I've played since wednesday. That's all I've done since wednesday
Eddily - September 30, 2005 04:24 AM (GMT)
We Love Katamari mainly. When my friend comes over, we play on his San Andreas file since he had to start over, not like he was very far before I don't think. :lol
Sephiroth - October 24, 2005 03:50 AM (GMT)
Jak 2 is currently, but I've been switching around a lot lately, replaying a bunch of Final Fantasy games, too.
Spudz777 - October 25, 2005 12:24 PM (GMT)
PS2 - WLK
PS - Castlevania SOTN
PC - there's such a thing as PC games?? I must investigate...
SNES - FFIII (US)
NES - Zelda
Of course, with a PhD topic defense coming up in two days, I haven't actually played anything very much, just a level or two of WLK here and there.
vix - October 25, 2005 05:39 PM (GMT)
I've been playing ssx on tour, worst ssx game ever...trying to help with the ssx master faq.
Karppa - October 28, 2005 08:24 AM (GMT)
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland...
The only highlight was when the pros started to show up and give you challenges. The no-loading-between-the-levels is almost a joke, most of the "levels" are smaller than what the previous games had.
Got the story mode and classic mode 100% at easiest setting, also all skatepark pieces and their challenges, now doing classic mode at sick... big disappointment there, too: all the collectibles are at same places as in normal mode, only thing that changes are the required scores :(
Punky Panda is cute, though...
MechaGai - October 29, 2005 09:20 PM (GMT)
Well, after having the hurricane hit and take away my power for ONLY a day and a half (I consider that a lucky break since some folks won't have power for another 2 weeks.) and no internet for a week, I've been playing a lot of different games on my PS2, mainly because I usually just buy games that I wanted to play and they were really cheap. Take today, for example. Went to the mall, and saw that GameStop and a "Buy Two, Get One Free" sale. So I picked up .hack//OUTBREAK and //QUARANTINE (Parts 3 and 4, finally got them! w00t), and got Killer7.
So I'm playing WLK, Max Payne, DDRMAX (since I have to unlock the songs for the FOURTH time, UGH!), DDR Extreme2, Dark Cloud 2, Xenosaga 1 (then 2), .hack, Silent Hill 4 ( I might not finish this one simply because I didn't like the gameplay all too much at all. Well, not the gameplay, just the story. I didn't get very interested in it. But the music kicks major arse, as always. MUCH <3 to Akira Yamaoka.), The Adventures of Cookie and Cream (A OLD favorite of mine. Check it out yourselves), Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, FFX (Yes, I haven't played this until now.), and a few others, but I can't remember them... Oh, well.
Oh, yeah. Taiko no Tatsujin (Taiko Drum Master in the US).
Yes, I'm a compulsive buyer, but I buy cheap. XD
Karppa - October 30, 2005 05:02 PM (GMT)
Ahh, Cookie And Cream... :gba
I just wish the last levels didn't get so hard, there's that one certain merry-go-round that I've managed to get past only 3 times, and the crane after that always makes me fail miserably. If only there was some cheat to keep the time-stealers away...
MechaGai - October 30, 2005 07:09 PM (GMT)
I got a cheat: It's called "keep moving." XD
Just jump in place, you'll be fine from them.
And I had beaten the game by MYSELF once, but the CD somehow died, but I bought a new copy. I am happy.
But I'm playing Killer7 now. Interesting stuff there. Definitely not for children.
Jag - February 8, 2006 05:08 AM (GMT)
Darn it, vix, I was on the cusp of creating a topic like this, but you went and stoled it from me.
Well, after writing my WLK FAQ, I decided it was time for a break from sticky-ball rolling. So I finally got around to playing Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. Then I started on Hard Mode in Shadow of the Colossus, but it couldn't hold my attention long, so I turned to older days.
I got on kind of a Rare N64 kick, I just finished Adventure II in Diddy Kong Racing today and was eyeing Jet Force Gemini (for the thousandth time), but right now, I feel the mid-90s LucasArts graphic adventure games coming on. Especially with news of a new Sam & Max on the way (again).
khfan1 - February 8, 2006 05:50 AM (GMT)
I am ignoring all my games, I just can't stop playing SotC+Katamari...
Currently playing...
-RE4
-SotC
-Atelier Iris
-Rule of Rose
-WLK
-DQ8
-Quest for Glory (lol)

World of Warcraft
We Love Katamari
Mario Kart DS
And two weird ones...
Toejam and Earl in Panic on Funkotron (Sega Genesis)
Godzilla (NES)
...for speedruns I'm working on.
fleacollar - February 10, 2006 05:05 PM (GMT)
Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening for Gameboy. I beat it tons of times, but its been a while so I had to beat it again. I'm thinking about starting an RPG that I got for Christmas today called Tales of Symphonia but I'm scared that I'll really like it, then sacrifice homework time to play. :(
The Prince's Bride - February 10, 2006 05:47 PM (GMT)
Omg, Toe Jam and Earl :woot ! I played the first game when I was a child, where you go up the elevators to the different levels and run away from boogeymen and mobs... good times :smirk .
Funny thing, Jag, I've been playing a couple of N64 games as well, one of them being Mario Kart 64. It's so strange going back to Mario Kart 64 after playing the newer ones, the character's voices were sooo funny back then. I swear, when you hit someone with Luigi, it sounds like he's saying "Nino, oh ho hoho!" And then what I hear when I hit someone with Peach, "Pina! Bye-bye!" :rolling Although I think it's probably the easiest Mario Kart game of the series (SNES Mario Kart is butt hard :dead ), I've gotta give Mario Kart 64 credit, it has some great music tracks and it is a great classic on N64.
As for games I'm currently playing, of course my two main obsessions, We Love Katamari and Tetris Attack, but also Shadow of the Colossus and Lumines (which I suspect is quickly becoming another obsession :D ).
slo_bro - February 11, 2006 04:52 AM (GMT)
I used to play the Mario Karts a lot (64 is my favorite), and many RPGs (FFIV and VIII and Xenogears and DWIV are my favorites), and I too played Link's Awakening through many times,
But I have hardly played anything else at all since I got into the katamari games. I don't know why. I have played a little Metroid Prime Pinball, some Game & Watch Gallery 4, and some Flipnic thanks to advice on this site, (edit: and a little Yoshi's Story, and some SotC), but since July 2005 the vast majority of my game playing has been katamari.
I wonder if anyone will make a "favorite games of all time" thread. I've thought of making one.
vix - February 11, 2006 05:03 AM (GMT)
go for it!
I've been playing wlk a lot lately trying to get some records but no luck...that's all i've been playing for a while now...i should get back to some guitar hero.
Oh i've been playing some tetris blast and tetris attack on gameboy and the occasional warioware twisted.
Jag - February 11, 2006 08:57 AM (GMT)
Moved on, borrowed Radiata Stories from Cozine, the quiet friend. Possibly sociopathic. I'm at the dwarf village, and I don't know whether to be confused or just annoyed. I guess I'm going to have to invest more time to find out which, but it suffers from all the problems that made me tire of Star Ocean 3 in about five minutes of gameplay and two hours of movies.
Ichigo - February 11, 2006 07:03 PM (GMT)
