In stage 5 ALAP I still can't get big enough for the King, which me and my dad dislike because he doesn't like the King ever since our Cloud stage co-op became stardust XD and I just wanna get the King. How? I've tried walkthroughs, and they've helped me(with a few improvs) to get to 3245m but I still can't quite get the King.


Can anyone please help me on this?

Maybe this will help: It's not about SIZE; it's about TIME. I mean, of course, you DO have to be a certain size . . . But the reason you can't get him is because you're running out of time. So maybe look at the walkthroughs a bit more to improve your completion time. Since AFAP5 is so similar to ALAP5, you might practice on it, so you can see your time improve (with the clock, rather than just the minutes counting down). What helped me bring my time down was having about ten mini-time-goals along the way. Let's see, off the top of my head: the first size-up, leaving the swimming pool and heading downstream, getting the gondolas, leaving France, the 60m barrier at New York, the Great Wall, the Giant Clouds, the Desert. I made notes on what size I needed to be to get what, and what time I wanted to be at, etc., and just kept playing the level like mad!! Best of luck Kazuk-I! You'll have the king soon I know it!

Like Matthew said it's about time, and your speed to reach early milestones like 12m and 60m is extremely important as it will give you more time once you're bigger.

When you're 200m get the clouds along the island next to the desert. Those should get you to 300m. Then get the whole desert once you're 300m. At first you'll only be able to get a few tiny pieces, but then you'll start picking it all up.

At 600m rush over to the huge volcano and grab all the tiny volcanoes. At 1500m get the funny-shaped icebergs. At about 2100m you can start grabbing the largest sections of land. And once you're 2600m or 2700m, forget about everything else and concentrate only on the huge clouds, because they're the things that will quickly get you to 3200m, big enough to catch the King. And make sure your dad's there when you catch him :thumbsup

This is a bit late, but I GOT HIM!!! AND ZE QUEEN TOO! My Dad was as happy as I was XD but when I tried again at a later time, I rolled him up at 3154m, does anyone know exactly how big you need to be to roll him up?

I don't know exactly, but I know it's between 3000 and 3200m.
