I'm needing help on this if anyone can help me. Its probably a really stupid question but ive had this game a couple of weeks and i don't seem to be making much progress. Im increasing my score/size on the ant , turtle and canary stages but i dont seem to be getting any further. Ive seen screenshots from loads of other stages where there are things like skyscrapers to pick up and im just wondering what im having to aim for on each stage to make progress. Am i not doing something does anyone know ? Like I said its probably me bein stupid but any help would be greatfully appreciated cos i love this game and just want to enjoy the rest of it. I don't remember what order the levels come, but I'm positive that there's yet another animal somewhere to give you a new quest/level. Have you used the shoulder buttons to check on volcano island, too? (try walking completely around it)

And you have passed the canary quest, there IS an island now for the canary?

Also, I believe i managed to get through the entire game with only doing one or two of the volcano island animals, I don't think you need to do them to get more main stage animals to open up.

Have you checked the slingshot? both sides?

You don't actually ever have to do the ant stage or any other stage on Volcano Island to play through the game.

If you have made it to a meter and a half in the Canary stage, then there should be a "gold bug" waiting at the slingshot. Just try walking straight up to where the King shoots you off.

Thanks everyone for your help! It looked like all I was doin wrong was just not reaching my limit on the canary stage. I'm now progresing at last! lol. I'm glad I've found this forum. Its soooo much help! Thanks you anyway. I'm sure I'll be back ! :)
