:applause Loved the animated eraser!! (When I read the description while it was loading and you described it as a "rubber" going crazy, I wasn't sure what to expect! In the US "rubbers" are something else :flirt) I wasn't able to watch the red piece - it loaded, but nothing played. Probably something on my end. Will try again later. Your graphic design stuff is a lot of fun, too. Sure you don't want to try a Katamari themed piece?

Off topic, but you mentioned Ribena in your reply to the wierd food topic. I love Ribena!! :drool Too bad they don't sell it in the US.

discostu - April 20, 2006 10:29 PM (GMT)
thanks, with the red one it stops playing at the beginning you just need to click a bit further ahead for it to work.
oh and i do know what a rubber can also be now that would have been crazy :P

well here it is

http://www.elquango.co.uk

Aerock - October 31, 2006 07:37 PM (GMT)
Doh, why havent i replied to this before! cool stuff, the eraser bit is funny and i like the bloodveins thing and ur other stuff are damn awesome. i dunno anything about webdesign but making a flash website wouldnt be too complicated right? the current pages images take long to load.

discostu - October 31, 2006 10:50 PM (GMT)
thanks, that project was specifically limited to dreamweaver
now i have 3 weeks to do another website interface only using flash this time, ive never used it so it is really tough for me

discostu - November 17, 2006 05:56 AM (GMT)
ive got to be up in 3 hours :(
ive spent all night working on my flash site
ive put it online now
www.elquango.co.uk
click on wifi
it is an interface looking at cracking wifi in the city and how you can get an idea of the kind of person they are from the sites they visit

please have a good go to see if there are any bugs :)
i still need to add sound

discostu - November 17, 2006 10:21 PM (GMT)
hooray its finished its got sound too
you click on an arrow and then click scan to reveal the networks
you then crack the password to get a site log for it

you should totally dl chaoscope and apophysis, both are freeware and both rule. though i seem to like chaoscope better.

here's one of my favs: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/43427591/

discostu - December 1, 2006 10:55 PM (GMT)
im on a mac so they arent available, ive had a look around and found 1 free one but doesnt look like it can produce a good looking ones as you have done

discostu - December 2, 2006 12:36 AM (GMT)
ive tried the program it sucks all you can do is change the colours on 4 set fractal things, they look flat and nothing like the great ones in your fractal art thread

vix - December 2, 2006 04:17 AM (GMT)
which program?

discostu - December 2, 2006 04:24 AM (GMT)

Heh, its pretty nice, i havent used the freehand tool in ages. we should chat on msn or aim, i will teach you a couple of tricks (i recommend you get adium, best mac IM client thing)

discostu - January 20, 2007 09:04 PM (GMT)
cheers mate, pop into the gabbly topic we can chat there

hellyes - January 20, 2007 11:29 PM (GMT)
It's cool, very little green army-men-ish!

Aerock - January 21, 2007 10:13 AM (GMT)
stu, the gabbly thing wont really work, get msn and use adium with it, much easier, i can see when you are online and stuff and send files etc.

discostu - January 21, 2007 02:10 PM (GMT)
ok ive sent you me msn,ive tried adium and i hate it too complicated and i dont like it so i will use msn

Aerock - January 21, 2007 06:13 PM (GMT)
adium isnt complicated at all, just add your msn account passport and password to it and it will fetch friends and all for you. MSN messenger for mac is horrible.
It slows down the system alot for no reason, hasent got much at all features or customisation.
For adium however, you can get friend list styles, message styles... choose fonts , smiley packages, menu icons with different states, sound packs and pretty much everything. another good thing about adium is that you can use it to put all your im clients to one, so you can chat to aim users and msn users same time without switching programs which is annoying :P

but i recommend not using msn for mac, it slows down your system for no reason and you cant customise anything. (oh yeah and looks crap too :P)

I've enjoyed your work, stu! All I can share, like in return, is a flash site I did, aaaages ago (did all of it, from gfx to programming), the fun part was doing the cover designs (you'll find them by clicking on discography), and, ah well, as I said, the site's a granny, by now, or something :) Anyway... It's here.

discostu - March 27, 2007 09:09 PM (GMT)
wow thats a really great site really professional, i didnt enjoy flash at all, i need to update my website soon but i think i will stick to html as its easier to update

discostu - May 10, 2007 04:41 PM (GMT)
current project in progress i have to illustrate these 3 articles
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/st...2026579,00.html

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/st...1963337,00.html
