Maybe eventually we can make a guide and list the big items by stage or by score category.

Another thing I never caught on to is the spinning animal. So if I understand right he spins whenever you earn points, and spins faster whenever you earn lots of points.

:) I'll edit this post if I find any more big point earner items.

edit: better yet, I just submitted a guide to GameFAQs that includes lots of these.

the thing with the animal is: when you pick up anything, regardless of points, the animal will start to spin...
if you don't pick up anything for a while, the animal will become completely stationary...
if you pick up a point earner, the animal will spin faster...
if you pick up a super point earner, the animal will spin super fast and when the the object is rolled up, a star from your katamari will go into the animal, much to the effect of picking up a flower in WLK...
so if you pick up an egg sandwich in the octopus level, the octopus will spin violently and a star will be added...
that's my understanding anyway....

the first aid kit, i have no idea where it would be besides the camel stage...
the solar panel is pretty small, so don't size up to 30m before getting it... i find it easy to use the beetle stage and restart the level twice in eternal, that will take you to potato land... i think i have a picture of it up...

lol, No one at GameFAQs has had a chance to review my guide yet, but I've already updated it four times.

The guide is in text-only format, but I think we can get around that - what I did was I put a link to this thread right in the guide. Vix can tell us for sure, but I think GameFAQs will allow that.

I am still missing First-Aid Kit in Oak Town, and I have reason to believe I am missing something in Radish Land, beyond the 30m barrier.

I think the item is that big freight ship that I listed under Rice State, you can see it in Radish Land but I really doubt you can reach 131m to grab it. So maybe we just need the first-aid kit ...

edit: Oh my, I found the First Aid Kit in Oak Town. It's a doozy.

By the building where the LED light is, look up on top of those big rolling things. You can climb up there using the shelves with plants.
