Title: Would I be allowed to submit a time that isn't...

Would I be allowed to submit a time that isn't saved to my file?
Like could I submit my time when the speeddemosarchive WLK vids are up?
Or would you prefer me using my time that I have saved on my memory card?
vix - March 17, 2006 05:40 AM (GMT)
Sure, I don't see why not.

dont you hate when you have a great score not on your own card or hard drive!?
i played crazy taxi at a friends house on his ps2 and beat one of my scores (the first one where you jump as far as possible) by a long ways!
when i got home i popped crazy taxi back into my dreamcast but couldnt get close to redoing that jump :(

i've had stuff like that happen, it sucks. :doh

I just hate forgetting to save on Katamari! I don't think I could get 26 seconds again on Underwater AFAP. :(

well, at least you know it could be done. :lol you've got something to shoot for. :)

then 15,000 roses later i hit pause and return to meadow!

I did that, but... I didn't lose 15k, I lost 400k... :frusty

:eek WHAT!? :eek
you lost 400 thousand? how does that to roll up!
dude did you freak out and scream and punch a pillow!?
i would go nuts for 90 seconds!

I just sat there and stared at the screen for 10 seconds, walked out of the room, and than I started hitting my head on the wall...
I also overwrote my perfect KH data a week before that... :dead LOL
vix - March 21, 2006 08:01 PM (GMT)
my ex once overwrote his gta:vc file. talk about :frusty and :dead
waxc3 - March 22, 2006 05:59 PM (GMT)
my bud drew overwrote my street fighter alpha 3 file once. it had 5 upgraded characters that took several hours each. like beating shin akuma with zangief was a PAIN but i did it......
then it was erased and over written with drews blank file :mad
since then i get nervous anytime someone saves on my systems or mem cards. like i watch over them so nervous the whole time.
my katamari and we love katamari files have me on file 1 and 2 just in case.
AlaskaDave - March 22, 2006 10:22 PM (GMT)
haha i totally have two save files also, just in case...no problems just yet..
but 0:26 seconds at AFAP?! yowza, i can't get much below the 0:50 second mark. Honestly, one of the more frustrating levels... but such intense satisfaction of superclearing it though!
I kinda wish there was a super-super clear on some of them... :cool
later al
- dave!

I had the privilege to watch his 0:26 already - wow, when he did it it looked so easy, but then you realize all the little things that could go wrong...
it's absolutely amazing
Hopefully it will be on Speed Demos Archive soon for everybody to watch :) Then he could certainly submit it on the scoreboard, though I think there'd be nothing wrong with him doing that now.
we love calimari - July 14, 2006 10:19 PM (GMT)
wow 0:26 is fast on that level!
i lost a 130 hour final fantasy 7 save on christmas eve. i'd got everything like knights of the round etc and i saved just before sephiroth then i went to load it the next day and it kept saying "do you wish to format memory card? yes no"
i was only 11 and didnt know what format meant so i just said yes and it wiped my card. luckily the only game that was on the card was ff7 coz all my other games were on another card.
i broke my tv after that by kicking it coz it was the nearest thing to my foot then went outside and burnt the memory card lol
thankfully my dad had bought me a new tv for christmas even though he didnt know mine was broken :D
