I was just well over 9m5cm on cowbear level- I even got the elephant. But I ran out of time before I got a cow/bear =/

I missed bouncing the Kintaro Bears so I couldn't get the Cowbear- I'll try it a few more times and see if I can get that big again AND get him.

As for recording the run, as of right now, all I can do is record it with a vcr (I'll be glad to then send it to whomever has the capability to move it to a computer).

Dr. Thinker mentioned how he captures his runs. Are there any other ways?

:) :) :) Aaron has the equipment and the know-how to transfer to computer. He did it with my videos. I hope you choose to send him a video, include other stages you're really good at on the video too if you want to.

you could buy a capture card for you pc....I bought another one today but unfortunatly it just doesn't suit my needs in terms of quality(of screenshots)...I should probably keep it for videos but I know I won't do too many videos...I really want teh screenshot aspect the most.

The only other board that I'm particularly good at is the 50 item challenge level, and I still have some progress and improvements to make before I consider recording. Plus Dr. Thinker's run is pretty much unbeatable without near perfection.

I'll definitely do some recording tonight when I get home.

Ok, I made a recording of 9m50cm5mm + Cowbear. Someone pm me Aaron's mailing address and I'll send the tape out tomorrow.

This is pretty much my standard run, and I finish with 3 minutes left so I can definitely increase the size. Can someone with better knowledge of items/sizes/etc/ than me please suggest some other items that I should go for at this size? I know that there's a big rig truck by the carwash but I don't know how big you need to get it. Perhaps I could just camp the carwash and grab the racecars that come out, but I suspect their impact on my size will be pretty slim at this point. Any insight is appreciated.

A friend of mine has a tv-in (I think that's what he called it) on his pc and he can transfer my vcr vid to pc. That should get done later tonight. My best recorded size thus far is 9m55cm5mm.

Anyway, I've been working on upping my size and sorta I'm hitting a wall. My run ends at the car wash, and the last items I've grabbed are the elephant, the cargo bins on the ship, the sharks near the ship, and the palm trees and building on the raised area near the ship. From here I have about 3 minutes left and I'm not sure what to go after. Can anyone suggest anything on this level in the 9m vicinity? I can't quite get the trees yet (aside from the tiny ones) or the truck near the carwash. The wrestling ring is listed at 9.87, so that's not too far off, but there's a bear on it- can I get it without getting the bear? I don't really know item names/sizes that well and exploring is dangerous.

In the off-chance that I'm not just holding a conversation with myself, I'll add yet another post with some more info.

I don't think 10m is possible. I've gotten over 9m6cm5mm and then run out of time (no Cowbear, obviously) and I don't believe there was enough uncollected stuff to get me to 9m87cm to get the wrestling ring, which I believe to be the only item still worth getting. I've gotten every shark, palm tree, and beach umbrella, along with the cargo containers on the ship and the helicoptor and elephant (both of which require a size of over 9m and add just over 1 cm). I even got the lion off of the moving bear car (not easy to do, by the way). Unless there's something pretty damn big that I'm missing, I'd have to say that you can't get any bigger.

I've got a video of just over 9m6cm (no helicoptor, no lion, and not all the sharks or beach umbrellas) that'll hopefully be available today or tomorrow (depending when my friend with the means to move it from vhs to pc gets his poop ina group). Perhaps after viewing my video, someone else can determine if there's anything that I've missed that's worth getting.

I've tried that level just for size and I have no idea how you have the patience for that...that level kills me. :lol

Maybe you have to get almost every single item... That would suck...

You guys must really hate the 50 item challenge, which in my opinion requires FAR more patience. These are my two favorite levels- I like the fact that they force you to play more carefully than usual.
