For those rolling gods who've made it deep into the mega six figures, ANY help would be appreciated. I think I've figured out where everything is, but I can't seem to get past $102,000ish without running out of time :( I hate to admit it, since it sounds soooo dumb, but I only figured out how to dash. I thought the charge and roll thing was just to get me out of places when I get stuck. :doh I figure, that's what i need to do to get bigger faster. But where do I do it? What's the best strategy for not wasting energy because I just end up bouncing off big things? Also, where is the ring on the bananas? If I get hit and a ring drops off, does it stay in the vicinity forever or do I have to find it right then or will it disappear if I leave? Sorry for all the questions, but this is driving me nuts! Thanks a bunch.

You have to be conservative with CnR's on the Panda stage... you don't want to use it much during the beginning when you're picking up the rings or they could easily fall off if you accidently bump something. Only use it when you have clear paths and need to cover a long distance until you become more comfortable with it. Once you get fairly large, you can use it much more frequently. While CnR's will certainly help bring that score in the $200,000 range, you should be able to get around $150,000 with not very many if you just have a solid predetermined route through the level.

The ring by the bananas is right in the center of that platform thing with all the bananas on it that the gorilla is looking at. If you can't find it, you might be approaching it too late (rings disappear when you reach a certain size).

The rings will usually stay in the vicinity until you find it, or reach a size in which it becomes too small, but sometimes the ring bounces out of the stage and is lost forever. In other words, it doesn't always land on solid ground... sometimes it will just disappear.

Thanx tons, Arrow & Aaron :thumbsup I'm going to practice the CnR thing, plus study Aaron's FAQ. I can't hold my head high unless I at least hit $150,000. Right now I'm suffering from an extreme case of hand fatigue. I've already learned to mouse with either hand to try and avoid carpal tunnel (can't quite paint or draw in photoshop with my left hand yet, tho) and now KD and WLK have come into my life. But what can you do :shrug I just can't stop rolling.

Has anyone ever gone into the pool area during the Panda level? I've never done it. People are moving around in there, so I figure it's gotta be accessible, but is it worth it?

Okay, with all your help I finally made it to $122,964.58 :woot I tried topping it last night, but as these things go, I never made it past $110,000ish. In fact, after that high, my totals just kept getting worse. Sometimes I guess your mojo just isn't working. Anyway, thanks for the tips. Aaron, I haven't checked your video yet because I don't think I've got the app to run it.

Are you running windows?
If so, you can either download the XviD codec from xvid.org or the FFDShow codec pack from my site.
And then I suggest the Media Player Classic (also on the site)
Just install the codec/pack and then the media player, drag the vid onto the media player and you're good to go!


Definetly check, though, in your control panel to see if XviD is already installed :P
