Hello! Let me show you some of my artwork!
The JCL Catagory:
Some of you might be asking, "What is JCL?". Well it's the Junior Classical Latin Leauge. I'm a Lating Student and I'm proud!! Here Latin students gather to take tests, enter artwork of all kinds, learn more about the Romen culture, play a jeperdy Latin game, and to play romen sports all for ribbons and trophies. I started going every year since 7th grade. I've also been taking latin for that long too. It's really awesome. Here are some of my old works, I have a ton more I do those later.
These are from my 7th grade year (which means I was 14), the frist time I've ever went to JCL. My prize winning Picture is the blue Pheonix! I only entered 3 the last one isn't very important to see...btw sorry for the low quality pic, but I first took a picture of it then inputted in the comp, so that's why they look a bit crappy.
Pegasus the legentary winged horse who sprung out of Medusa's head and was tamed by Balaraphon. Pegasus the majestic horse flies through the night and to the moon. With it's glorious wings it flies, displaying it's wild sprit and untouchable beauty. This was entered in the Water Color section it deserved 2nd place.
This elegant azure phoenix soars up above the clouds where all is clear. Beneath it lies the motto of Kansas,
"AD ASTERA PER ASPERA" Which means "To The Stars Throug Difficulites". These words were painstakingly painted. This was entered in the Illustrated Quote's section, and it surprisingly deserved 1st place.
