Title: Prisoner Punishment

FoxBox - December 17, 2005 05:06 PM (GMT)
In light of recent events, I have created a Prisoner system much like the one used at another forum I attend.

People who have violated the rules will only have certain abilities so that they can defend their case in the State Prison in whether to be set free, banned, or suspended.

Prisoners are only allowed to post in their prison thread until set free.

xPanic - December 17, 2005 05:12 PM (GMT)
Interesting idea...look I'm bored can I try it pleaseeeeeeee really pleasee

FoxBox - December 17, 2005 05:14 PM (GMT)
No. I assure you the prison is not fun. Prisoners may only reply to their prison thread. They are not allowed to see other parts of the forum, PM people, Edit their avatar, Edit their profile, email people, or anything else.

xPanic - December 17, 2005 05:17 PM (GMT)
yea I know, I just want to try it, like...preliminary thing...to make sure i dont ..do anything retarded

FoxBox - December 17, 2005 05:18 PM (GMT)
Well, Shion is the first prisoner. So from there, we'll see how it goes. If the prison is a good thing, I'll keep it. If not, I'll just ban people on the spot.

xPanic - December 17, 2005 05:22 PM (GMT)
Ohhh...wait..whys she the first one?

FoxBox - December 17, 2005 05:30 PM (GMT)
Wheren't you here for the whole plagiarism issue? The prison will give her a chance to explain herself.

xPanic - December 17, 2005 08:15 PM (GMT)
Wasnt here for that issue...maybe because it'd piss me off because for me plagerism is a big deal, and i might have gone bezerk

Krazydog - December 17, 2005 08:32 PM (GMT)
I think its an interesting idea. Way better than instant ban. ^^ GO FOR IT! XD

It's fair and deffinitely a necessity. x]

xPanic - December 17, 2005 10:01 PM (GMT)
Well in light of recent events I say just instant ban and use this program for less serious offenses <_<

Krazydog - December 17, 2005 10:24 PM (GMT)
Hmm yeah. If the Offense is huge than the best way would be probably to just ban them. (sweat sweat) Let's just hope I don't cross that line... (sweat sweat)

FoxBox - December 17, 2005 11:54 PM (GMT)
I was also thinking about adding a prisoner limit. Like if a person has been to prison for more than a certain amount of times then they are banned.

moshes2 - December 18, 2005 02:05 AM (GMT)
That would be good...

xPanic - December 18, 2005 02:08 AM (GMT)
well also you could add an offense limit, like if someone gets reported for the same offense 4 times in one thread (like a classaction lawsuit) and is proven guilty id say just ban them. Example if someone playgerizes 5 times they have nothing to explain, their caught they pay the price they have nothing to explain

FoxBox - December 18, 2005 02:16 AM (GMT)
Yeah. But if it's a minor offense...like spamming or flaming multiple times, then they would probably just be suspended for a while instead of banned.

moshes2 - December 18, 2005 02:17 AM (GMT)
Ya.... True

xPanic - December 18, 2005 02:20 AM (GMT)
exactly cept flaming can be justified..I mean if provoked or something but if it was trolling yea suspension

FoxBox - December 18, 2005 02:42 AM (GMT)
Yeah, like if two people where flaming eachother. Both of them should be punished.

Deception - December 18, 2005 05:01 AM (GMT)
Well we're not going to be transmuted into chimeras or bonded to a suit of armor, or used as sacrifices to make a philosophers stone will we?

FoxBox - December 18, 2005 10:20 PM (GMT)
...maybe....I could always use my prisoners as test subjects! But wouldn't it be fun as a chimera.

The Jewel Alchemist - January 7, 2006 02:37 AM (GMT)
Yeah I think that this is a wonderful idea! It's like a court, innocent til' proven guilty!

japanese princess - January 8, 2006 11:19 PM (GMT)
No don't do the same thing they did on FMA. that's just..... no dont do it

Hey jewel alchemist, haven't heard from you in a while. So how did the finals go?
