Pinako Rockbell is Hohenheim Elric's old Drinking buddy in the manga. Hohenheim married Trisha, Pinako had her own family. The two families aren't related but they are very close.

I read somewhere a while ago, you know just searching through some stuff, on a anime site, with like you know anime profiles and stuff..It said on a few of them that Ed only liked Winry as a friend ,but Winry had a crush on Ed, but with all the stuff going on Ed dosn't want a girlfriend, because he's to busy..well something along the lines. I'll try and find the site again.
Because Ed is the kinda like the Main person in the show, and he has sooo many fan girls...they made the show so Ed didn't have a crush on winry, because if they did....they would get really bad hate main from fans, and then the fans would stop watching n stuff.
