Also, who also agrees with me that Homunculi DO have a soul... I mean if they didn't than they would just be a quiet, emotionless puppet, right? And the others wouldn't have emotions... also they wouldn't be able to cross the gate, right? Whether their souls is their's or not, don't you think they do have one?
If they didn't have a soul, then Envy wouldn't be so angry all the time, They wouldn't have memories from their previous life, emotions and living wouldn't matter to them. Also, I'm sure the movie would contradict that fact as well Even though I haven't watched it yet.

I've often wondered the same thing- they have the same emotions as normal humans, but they say that they have no soul... then again, a soul has no real defintion, so I guess it would be hard to prove any of this.

My favorite Homunculi are Envy and Greed. Because they're cool. B)

Hmm true, but even so. Wouldn't something without a soul be like a soulless puppet that doesn't speak or have any emotions? It shows in one of the later epp of what a soulless being really is. So the homunculi probably do have a soul. :lol: or maybe I'm thinking too much into this.

I see your meaning. I mean...the sould is like the person really, regardless of the body. The body's just the shell, the spirit is what lives on after the body dies...so maybe that means everyone is immortal, almost...because the soul lives of after the body dies :blink:

And, yeah...linking with what I just said, that means the Homunculi probably do have souls. A soulless body would be...like a zombie almost...not concious of where it's moving to because of the lack of soul, just...moving via muscle and organs...so, yes. Homunculi probably do have souls...

I suppose they just dont realize it. Whether its their soul or not. You guys put up some pretty good points.

Yay so Greed does have a soul ^^Cuz in the manga he says that he was going to go to hell if he has to. Well, you cant go to hell if you dont have a soul rite? hahaha
