well i been interested in FMA for a lil while not to much... it does rate on my top ten but exact placing is difficult. i was searching Fanart on Google trying to find some form of art of the various circles and such on FMA... for i had a idea for an alchemist... if he would become a State Alchemist... his second name would be Tatoo'd Rune Alchemist...
he is a small/medium muscle built humanoid of normal height. he has a full body tatoo of an Alchemy "spell" similar to Scar from FMA his right arm is tatoo'd and has special properties he just has it covering his body. these tatoos inhance his Alchemy skills moderatly... it allows him to "Quick cast" similar to Edward... except his takes a lil more to do... which this is not his specialty only a quality. he works with more the spy route. alot of sublty(SP?)... he works from the shadows and leaves "presents" behind for pursuers. such as a rune inscribed on the wall that if someone was to touch would trigger the Alchemical circle. or a rune on the ground that when stepped on triggers the alchemical circale to make the spot into quicksand.
how he "casts", Edward has to clap his hands together to use transmutation. the way TRA(Tatoo'd Rune Alchemist) works is he will lay his hands flat on the ground and call the alchemy circle to his mind and it creates a outline of the circle and then he inscribes a rune with chalk or drawn in the dirt with holds the circle temporarily and it is unseen his left behind trade mark is the Rune. thus he is the Tatoo'd Rune Alchemist. this is his method. he does know martial arts and short blade skills for thos times when combat cant be avoided... think of him as a Trapmaster of the Alchemy world.

i yet to name him and have an actual appearance for him. if you remember episode 14 where they are going over the Ishbal Massacre the Alchmist that is present when Crystal Alchemist is forced to give up his incomplete Philosepher's Stones whent hey are revealed a side character kinda lanky and has a small circle on each of his palms. that would be a similar appearance. ill get more intimate with TRA in another topic i think that i have went off topic a lil much...
