Ok this question might sound weird but this guy came up to me at lunch said he "loved me" then said the same thing to my friend. Why do poeple just walk around yelling "I love you" to random people. My friend was freakking out so she was running around the lunch room. So I ask why do people have to do that stuff, the "love you" part.

People do stuff like that to make life slightly more interesting.

Ahaha! Thats funny, but, thing i do is if some one says i love you, freak them out right back.
Just say,
"Hey wanna hear the story about the purple Giraffe??'

And then say random stuff, really really fastly. Trust me, and if you know the llama song, i swear they'll run away yelling for mommy.
