Title: Last Weekend Journal.

Last week was horrible!I was tired all freaking week for unown reasons,until thurday that is when it REALLY got bad,we had to call the vet to uthinize my 34 year old quarter horse mare,she got all chopped up because when she whould try to get up she whould tall into the barn and tin. She was dying of old age and we did not want her suffering.So I had her on my mind ALL week and still do.
Sunday:Horse show was ok.The judge hated my strawberry roan walker/quarter horse so she gave me 5th place and 27.50$.It was hot and we had to wear long sleeve western shirts,pants and boots.
This week was good.I still think about Roxie my old horse though.But I knew when I got her she was old and she could of died at any minute.Either I took her or she whent to the slaughter.

Sorry to hear about your horse- I know what it's like to lose a pet that you really love. You definitely did the right thing by putting her to sleep- it was the best thing to have done: to make her passing easy and not painful.

Yeah,it was hard to do but since it can take up to 3 days for a horse to die of old age we had to do it.Plus ants whould have killed her.

i know how you feel :( I had to put my horse down just last year , he got bone cancer in his right foreleg

cancer took away my dad,grandpa,uncle, and some other family members.. and my grandma has it now and is slowly dying from starvation and now the doctors say i have skin cancer.. but my mom denies it...i hate my mom..nd sorry bout ur horse.. i knoe how u feel about someone close to u getting taken away
