ok what do you think of the war in Iraq?


I think its not fair what the US is doing i mean we (the Canadians) are only peace keepers and the US wants us to fight. I'm not in to this whole thing....

It's a very touchy discussion and topic area. I come from New York and i'm very touche with the entire thing really. I see where you are coming from as far as the entire "keep us out of this thing" and i'm not exactly sure what type of relationship the US has with Canada. But i do know they want some of our allies to help us out with funding etc. Like i said it's a touche thing and i think going over there and stopping terrorests from bombing other places and killing each is a good thing. Maybe i'll get into a bit more when my head is clearer.

some people dont evn realize this war is going on, qnd i hadnt got much into it, well i am in arizona. Well its not a bad thing to protectc your country is it? Ill give more thoughts later.=(school)

I personally think we shouldn't be there. There are no weapons of Mass Destruction like Bush said, (*punches Bush dummy*) or else we would have found them by now. If America just stopped putting their nose into other conutries bussiness, then we Americans wouldn't be as disliked as much.

Eh, they could have been moved or hidden..anyone smart enough would have done that, I would think.

As for America poking into other countries affairs, many a times they are asked to do so, people want help and aid like the asian islands during the flood.. After we gave help they ungratefully just told us to get out, we have helped many and we give more food/aid to other countries than most, if not all of the others.

But in reality, America will be hated no matter what we do. People hate us just to hate us, also lies about america are spread through the media, making the hatred grow in the other countries..did you know at one time they showed old western movies to the japanese, pointing out that we were horrible barbaric people who killed others etc?..its intresting.

I'm glad we are doing something though, and we did liberate a country didn't we? and so we can't back out of the country until it has stable government, otherwise it'll fall to another dictator. But also I must agree with what my history teacher said last year; Some countries just have different preferances about how they run and operate their government, just because we dissagree doesn't give us the right to change it.

As true as that is, Saddam did kill his people and use them for bio. wepons tests..

Eh, it is a big, touchy issue like DG said..I think really the country is split on if its right or wrong.. but I don't think it matters anymore, we cant pull out and it really is disrespectful to the soldiers when people over here fight constantly over the issue.. Idk
