Chapter 1: The arrival of strangers

The slient of night made every one sleep but it seen that not every one were sleeping. A night rainbow had sudden appeared in the darkness and a beam of light dropped from the sky. Nine people landed from the sky and disapeared in the darkness, the night rainbow has gone.The sun rised upon the sky, the sign of a new day but this can be a new nightmare.

At the East HQ, Roy picked up the newspaper and read " The strange rainbow appeared at night and gone away mysterously!" Roy thought this was just a stupid news that he had wasted time to read. He put down the newspaper and went off the room. Just then he saw Hawkeye came in.

" Sir, the Elric Brothers had come to see you"
"Very well then"

After that 10 minutes Edward came to see Roy.

"So how was the mission?" Roy smirked
" What did yeah' think its like to be chased off be the anti-military villagers?! Wait...you know it's going to happen don't you"
"And the reports ?"

Edward send the report to Roy and quickly left the room because he didn't want to stay in this hell office (in his thought). Just then he walked by the road with Al. There was a car accident. 3 people had died from the accident. Ed and Al ran up to the car quickly to see the damages.

"Al call the ambulance!"
"Yes brother"

But not only a single step a child in grey cloak blocked Al from calling the ambulance.

"Hey! what are you doing?"

The child walked up to the 3 dead bodies and lay hands on them. Suddenly a flash of light glow brightly in that area and the 3 dead bodies moved again. Ed and Al looked at the child, shocking from what she did.

"What the-?!" Ed tried to controll his voice
"How could she-?!" Al walked up to the child but quickly ran away
"Wait!"

The child was gone.

Chapter 2: The epidemic

Three days after the car accident, the child continue to heal and brought the people back to life. Now everybody was after the child epectially the military. Even Ed and Al was after the child.

"Brother, are you sure you going to do this? That perason still a child. He or she might don't know any thing." Al ask quitely.
" Then how that he or she could bring back people's life? Maybe that child had the philosipher's stone." Ed said as they walked to check the last area that the child had appeared.

As they walked Al noticed that Ed was a bit pale.

"Brother, Are Okay?"
“Hm? Yeah I’m fine…” Ed answered; only when he finished he suddenly became violently dizzy. Staggering slightly, Ed lost his balance and hit the pavement.

“Brother!” Al rushed over to him and tried to see what the matter was. Edward had become very pale and seemed to be having a hard time breathing “Brother! Ed…what’s the matter!”

Alphonse had helped his brother into a sitting up position, and tried to get him to say something,

“Brother speak to me, what’s the matter?”

Ed sort of learched forward and started coughing uncontrollably, Al then noticed how clammy Ed had gotten. He really didn’t know what to do, his brother just got sick all of a sudden and there was nothing he could do.

Thanks to a well-timed cab, Al was able to get Ed to the Central Hospital. Upon arrival though he noticed that there seemed to be a considerable number of people with the same symptoms as Ed. When he was able to get a nurse to stop and take a look at Ed, she sighed and answered,

“As you can see young man, a very strange epidemic has broken out here in Central. Over a hundred cases have been reported, we don’t know what it is or where it came from. All we do know is that it strikes without warning and…out of all the reported cases…75 of the people have died. I’m afraid there’s nothing we can do right now but make them as comfortable as possible, but we don’t have any more room here.”

Alphonse was at a loss for words, so this had been going on all this time and his brother and him knew nothing about it? At that moment a very familiar voice rang out,

“Alphonse! What are you doing here?”

Al turned around and saw 1st Lt. Hawkeye walking towards him; Major Armstrong accompanied her.

“Lieutenant! It’s brother, he just got sick all of a sudden. What’s this I hear about an epidemic?” Al answered. Hawkeye and Armstrong stopped; they gave each other very grave looks then continued until they reached the younger Elric.

“Come on…Central Headquarters has an infirmary Edward can stay in.” Hawkeye said solemnly.

They’d reached Central HQ and transported Ed to the infirmary where he was properly dealt with as well as the doctors there could. Col. Roy Mustang came storming into the observation room, just a small room that over looked the infirmary, and looked down at Ed with a slightly horrified expression.

“Its’ gotten Edward too! What the heck is this thing?” he cursed.

Roy and Al coundn't go in to Ed's room to visit him so they had to wait from the observation room.

"Colonel?" Al asked with a trembling voice.
"Yes?"
"Do you think my brother will die?"
"We’ll do whatever we can to save your brother ok. Behind the tragedy there's always hope.”

Suddenly the light gone out in the infirmary. Al and Roy looked around but everybody was frozen only two of them can moved. Al could still heard Ed coughing from his room so now it wasn't two but three. The sound of footstep running across the corridor and it seem to get closer. A child in white cloak appeared in front of them.

Chapter 3: The other thing that follow the stranger.

The child walked pass Roy and Al like didn't notice them and walked throught the wall to Edward's room."Wait! you can get the disease too! Get out of there" Roy yelled.But the child still in the room. And same as before the child put the hands on his chest and a flash of light grew from his room. When the light faded away everything seem to went back to normal. Roy and Al gazed Ed's room, noticed that he wasn't coughing any more. " Colonel!" Hawkeye ran from the corridor. "I'd got news from the Central infimary sir."

"Report." Roy said quitely.
"All the people who were suffered from the disease turned back to normal stage."
"It must be the child"
"What are you talking about sir?"

Roy and Al told Hawkeye about what happen in Ed's room. Hawkeye looked at Ed who were yawning in his bed. "I seem that Edward had been awaken sir."

After an hour of checking for disease Edward walked out of the Military infimary and lisent Roy to about what had happen to him.

"So It appear again huh." Ed frowned

"HELP!!!! HELP ME!!!! ARGHHH!!!!!!"an unknow sound came from the dark alley beside the hospital. Ed,Al,Roy and Riza stroming into the alley. And the first thing they see was a sea of blood and a shapeless body. Behind the body was a gigantic hayena about a size of a car." The one who had been help by the kids must DIE!!!"" it roared as it jumped to attack Ed.

Chapter 4: The mansion

Ed was pulled away by Hawkeye and ran out off the alley. They tried to strike back it didn't make a single scratch. The monster only tried to attack Ed but it always missed because of his friends' help.

"Fullmetal! run into the building!" Roy shouted as he snapped his finger to ignite the fire. Ed nodded and started to run away from the group, the monster used this moment where they were separated to attack him.

"Brother! Look out!" Al screamed. Ed looked back and the first thing he saw was the monster jumping to kill him.Oh! no this is going to be my last dayEd thought I can't move my feet!. Yet, Ed only closed his eyes and ... he heard a yelp. He opened his eyes again... it was that same kid that saved him before. The kid crushed the monster before it reached Ed.

"YOU...YOU...RAHHHHH!" the monster roared and followed the kid that ran away into the alley and came out again but with no monster following." There!" one of the mp ran with more mps pointing the guns at the child.

"Well, well, well, I won't let you escape this time," It was Colonel Frank Archer. "I'm asking you. Will you joined the military peacefully? Or with blood?"

Roy blocked Archer from getting into his way and told his target to run. The child nodded quickly and ran away, dropping something. Hawkeye picked it up... it was a map. The map showed the way to an old mansion. It was bound due to the high price that no one wanted to buy. Mustang's team explored the mansion.

"Geez, this place is wicked. I wonder what is so important in this place," Ed mumbled as he walked.

They went in several rooms but nothing was found."Let's see, we went into the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room but picked up nothing but dirt!"

"Every where but not the attic," Hawkeye mentioned. The way to the attic was creepy. The floor made a squeaky sound and the sunlight didn't go through that way. They reached the door to the attic where there were some letters that were written in blood saying Beware of the dark."Uhh...Colonel you go first," Ed jumped back to the end of the line.

"Ugh! you all are just pathetic crap!... Hawkeye open the door" Roy said it loudly except the last few words.

"Looks like nobody wants to go in first," Hawkeye glared at her team-mates.

"I guess it's time for it," Ed growled.

"I'm ready for it" Al seem excited.

" PAPER! SCISSOR! STONE!" a unison of four voice echoed in the corridor.

"Gahh! Why me!" Ed screamed

"Bad luck, Fullmetal" Roy smirked, looking delighted

With shakey hands Ed squeezed open the door and the first thing he saw was nine children asleep on the floor.

I'm not gonna be here on Saturday till Monday so I post this before my vacation.

“What the heck?!” Ed wondered as he entered the attic and the other also said the same thing. “Mnnnn...” yawned one of the children, “Whaaa! What are you doing here?!”

“Who the hell are you?!” The others started to wakeup.
“Easy guys,” one of them said "They are harmless."
“How could you tell?” Their voice still filled with anger
“Because they saved me lately,"
"Oh...Then sorry 'bout that since everybody was hunting for us,"

The one that told the other to calm down lifted the hood out, so as the other…

“Y-you’re a g-” Ed flinched
“A girl you mean?”
“You sound like a boy”
“By the way I’m Phoel. And the leader of this group” Phoel introduced herself. Phoel was a 12 years old girl had long black hair with chestnut eyes. She wore white cloak, white shirt, white pants and white boots. “Why do you have to wear white?” Alphonse asked, looked curious.
“I had reason to wear this,” Phoel didn’t surprise about this question, “It’s our rules that the leader must wear white.”

“If you saved our leader then I think it’ll be okay. I’m Probe,” Probe stepped out. Probe is also 12 years old. She looked exactly like Phoel but except her hair, she had white hair. Probe wore black t-shirt, blue trousers, brown shoes and of course a gray cloak. “Why you two look so much alike?” Roy started to speak after his long silence.

The girls look at each other and replied, “We’re twins.”

“Forgive me for shouting at you. I’m Max and this is Ravenna, Tyler, Klux, Ray, Kino and Klo” Max and everybody else lifted off their hood and Ed notice something. Klo’s face had fur no it. “And for got to tell you some of us aren’t human” Klo looked at the floor while he was speaking.
“How many?” Mustang asked them again.

Two pair of wing that spread out of Phoel and Ravenna back and a long pair of ears from Klo head. “Three”

“Okay, First question. What are you all doing here?” Ed questioned
“To find somebody” Klux replied coldly

Chapter 6: Why we are here...

"Ummm... I don't get that" Ed scratched his head.

"As you see, The monster you saw was one of our enemies, they called themselves "Scout" . They tried to capture us and we wanted to defeat them. We got it from a book that a group of people who is "The Chosen One" can help us," Max said.

Ravenna joined the conversation, "But now we can't go anywhere because your military tried to capture us and the Scouts too. Phoel used the last Philosopher's Stone-"

"THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE!!!!"The Elric brother screamed at Ravenna's face with surprised :blink:

"Y-Yeah but we didn't make it, w-"

"We stole it from the 5th Laboratory" Probe continued.

"Oh that wasn't the Philosopher's stone, that was the red stone," Ed looked down, disappointed.

"But some thing bother me," Roy frowned " Phoel and Probe are twins but why Probe is human?"

There a long silent. Tears rolled down from the 3 chimera.

"Scout killed ou parents and captured us to for experiment to mixed human with chimera like what they did. I got mixed with horse, wolf and eagle. Klo got mixed with cat rabbit and dog. Ravenna mixed with raven (That's why her name is Ravenna. If you cut the "na" it became "raven")." Phoel explained with low voice.

"We escape from the lab and help the other. That's how we joined the group. As I went out I grabbed out a book about how to returned to normal human and they said that a group of people who is "The Chosen One" is the one and only people who can help us," more tears rolled from Ravenna's eyes.

"We do this for our parents' revenge. That's why we left our world and came to this world," Klo didn't look at anybody as he talked.

"That's why we are here!" unsion of voice from the children echo the mansion with anger.

Chapter 7: Saddler

"Oh... Sorry to ask that," Ed knew how they felt liked a thousand pins pinned his heart.

"It's okay but," Tyler said in a caring tone then shouted "We haven't had anything drop in our stomach since yesterday!"

"Tyler you're greedy," Kino didn't care if he starved.

"We can't go out of here," Max sighed feeling desperate and trapped.

"I will go with you," Hawkeye patted Max's shoulder.

"Thank you, you are so kind."

Just 3 minutes after two of them were out. A scream came from the downstair.

"Hawkeye!" Roy stormed out of the attic, followed by everyone. The downstair was filled with snarling voice. 20 monsters surrounding Hawkeye and Max. "Scout!" In Phoel’s eye’s, the only thing that was in her head now was revenge for the one she loved.

"Phoel, we meet again,” The biggest scout walked out and snarled at Phoel face, “Let’s end this easily, be my solider again so there will be no blood.”

Max clapped his hand and transmuted a spear. Threw it at scout to make them stand back and ran to his friend (also Hawkeye). Ed and Al look at the in surprised They had seen gate? he thought. “So, you bring me new friends? How cute, they will also be my slave. Let me introduce myself, I’m Saddler” Saddler snarled, “That blond boy! Zees him!”

The scouts attacked Ed Probe tried to reached him… but she was too slow. One of the monster carried him in its mouth. “Nii-san!” Al screamed. Ed was unconscious. “I think I change my plan. Kill them!”

Ravenna transmuted a wall to block them and Ray made a hole in the floor. “Hide in there!” Klux shouted and got ready to fight. Roy, Al and Hawkeye hided and the hole and the only thing they heard was a battling sound.

Chapter 8: To the rescue

There were sounds of screaming, slashing, yelping and death in the room. I have to help them! Roy thought.

The other agreed especially Al. The got out off the hole and help the kids. “Give him back!” Phoel yelled with her dagger in her hand.

Saddler and the Scout that carried Ed quickly jumped away. Hawkeye almost ran out off bullets but Tyler transmuted for her. Al tried to get as close as possible to Saddler and his trusty buddy. Roy snapped his finger hardly but was careful not to blow down the mansion. The fight stop when there were only 3 Scouts left. “He he. This is just a warm up!” Saddler growled, “There will be more later,”

The two Scouts leapt out off the window. “Saddler!” Phoel yelled. “Don’t worry my girl. I won’t hurt him unless you will be my slave again” They disappeared into the bush.

“What will we do not little sis?” Probe didn’t look satisfied.

“Of course, follow him,” Phoel look at the bust then at the younger Elric, “But I can’t let you guys come with me.”

“Why! My brother needs me!” Al wanted to cry but he couldn’t.

“I won’t let any body risk their lives for us any more,” Phoel looked down.

“But you still kids!” Mustang exclaimed

“We aren’t human! I know some aren’t and don’t called us kid!” Ravenna screamed.

“True, but that doesn’t mean we can’t help you,” Al explain. He sound like he was crying even he’s not, “So Please…”

Phoel looked and sighed, “Feh, I hate those tears looking.”

Al became delighted. “You can go with us but I can’t guarantee your safety so be careful,” Phoel and Ravenna speared their wings, jumped out off the window and flew up while the others follow them.

“Let’s help your brother,” she looked at Al and Flew up higher.

Chapter 9 :Reaching their Destination

"Where the hell are you taking me!" Ed hissed at Saddler after a long sleep. He had no idea where he was. "You are now at our secret area where we kept our soliders and slaves. Don't worry, your friends will follow you'" Saddler was always calm and cold.

"Don't even TOUCH them!" Ed was now really angry but Saddler had left.

The place seemed dark and dirty. Only the lamp gave the light. He could hear the sounds of rats running around and snarling voices echoed from the tunnel. The place was damp. He could hardly breathe because the air was filled with smoke. He realised now that he was in a jail. Ed started to move around but then something pulled his left leg. It was a chain. Ed tried to use alchemy but when he clapped his hands and placed at the chain, nothing happened. From that moment he knew that he couldn't use alchemy. "Al..." He hugged his knees, feeling lonely and worried.

The gang was running through the alley in the night because they didn't want to show up. "Are we there yet!?" Roy shouted as he looked at the sky. He could barely see Phoel and Ravenna flying. No answer.

"Phoel!" Max shouted.

No answer

"Ravenna!" Klo huffed.

Still no answer

"Helloo!" Tyler started to get annoyed.

Again no answer

"Are you two deaf!" Klux too started to get annoyed.

Slience

"You idiot! Answer!" Ray ran out of patience.

Still none of the chimeras replied.

"I know the only way to call them since she's my sister," Probe said calmly, " Hey! Fatty!"

"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME, PROBE!" A shout came down from the sky and two chimeras shot down swiftly from the sky.

"Phoel hates to be call a fatty," Probe said.

"Why?" Al asked

"She eats alot but her weight is lower than mine. Still she hates that word," Probe turned to Phoel, "We tried to call you why didn't you answer?"

"I already answered but you couldn't hear it, that's all and we are here already!" Phoel hissed.

"Wait this is-" Hawkeye's hand went flying over her mouth.

"Yes, the military's warehouse. Next to the last warehouse there was a space left. If you dug at the right spot you will find a trapdoor," Phoel revealed, "that's where they took Mr. Elric."
