Title: My Drawing
Description: Erm, just... something random

Alchemic Wolf - July 20, 2006 02:37 AM (GMT)
Okay, well... erm, it's not fanart or anything, but... I just wanted to post a pic of a random drawing I did a few months ago. I was really proud of it then, but now as I look over it, I see a lot of things I screwed up on.

Kid and Wolf

*cringe* The wolf is disfigured; that's what I hate the most... dangit. Anyway, his elbows are too far up, making his arms look stubby, and his eyes are too dark and blotchy. At least, that's what I found wrong with him.

But those things aside, how is he?

((BTW, for his clothes, I had a reference *whistle*))

Whao..That is pretty good^_^

Chrono - July 20, 2006 05:37 AM (GMT)
very good!!!

You do clothing details very well. I'd suggest, if you want an opinion, to work with anatomy - besides a couple of proportion issues, its a well-thought-out and well-executed picture. ^__^ Mad props, my friend, mad props indeed!

Alchemic Wolf - July 20, 2006 08:27 PM (GMT)
^^Thank you all!!!

Hmm, yes, anatomy is definitely what I should work hardest on... there's always something that ends up being out of proportion.

Again, thanks!

^^ Yeah.. I have the same problem - that was the thing they always told me for YEARS... *sweatdrop* You're welcome, of course - got any more drawings? :)

Alchemic Wolf - July 20, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
Yes, I do, but I have to get my new scanner up and running before I can get them up here, though.

I've got a pic of Ed as a chimera that I made for my fanfic, and I've got a pic of a panda that I've been working on for Yuzu (but of course, she knows about this or I wouldn't have said that). Then there are others, but I don't know if I like them enough to show everyone.

But once I get the scanner hooked up, I'll try to get the pics posted, if you want.

Michiko - July 20, 2006 08:43 PM (GMT)
(Envious- you have a scanner!) I'd like that a lot, actually. ^^

Alchemic Wolf - July 20, 2006 08:49 PM (GMT)
Haha, about the scanner... don't be too envious. I have no clue how to hook it up, so my parents are the only ones who can, and they refuse to do it anytime I ask. Which... I've been doing for weeks. I might as well not even have it, because we've had it for at least a month, and we've never used it...

But, anyway, since someone wants to see some pics, I'll be sure to nicely beg ask my parents more to get it set up.

Michiko - July 20, 2006 09:03 PM (GMT)
Aw... I could give it a shot... (kidding) Still, at least you have one. That gives you potential ability to not have to beg friends.

Alchemic Wolf - July 20, 2006 09:08 PM (GMT)
^^ None of my friends have scanners, anyway, so asking them would do no good! They all aren't interested in drawing or anything that requires scanners.

But, yes, I see what you mean... and using a digital camera like I've always done just doesn't suffice.

Michiko - July 20, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
I agree completely there... it makes it all blurry and icky. >< None of your friends irl are artists?

Alchemic Wolf - July 20, 2006 09:20 PM (GMT)
Nope. Sure, they draw every so often, and when they do it turns out pretty nice, but there's a definite emphasis on the "every so often". They don't enjoy doing it.

...So I can't use anything of my friends'... well, excluding the paper to draw on. Although, even that I don't usually use.

Awsome! Everyone else has already covered the crisism, so I cover the praise! ^_^ Tis good!

Alchemic Wolf - July 21, 2006 02:02 PM (GMT)

Ehn, it's just the beginning of a potential career. Ookami has just a coupla rough patches to cover, that's all. ^^
