I found out recenly that the picture I used for endurence is kiyo on fruits basket...
and the picture for mutiny is hikaru from hikaru no go...

That is ok. Originality has its limits, nothing will truely ever be 100% yours b/c you usually get the ideas for somthing else, even if you draw the character yourself..somthing about it wont be original..It happens, dont hurt yourself over it. I know a lot of my characters are waayyy less original than they probably should be..but, I don't really care..

Like Ghost said, nothing you make is going to be 100% original. Besides, it's just their appearance, it's their personality and how you use them that counts. My characters ain't all that great either...I'd try to make better characters but I kinda already have 5 characters...

You can make alot of NPC's though and still use them as Main characters. Except for more background purposes.

No, stealing pics, while not always the best idea, isn't a sin. Just don't take the main character... or something REALLY out there. Imo, it's okay to use something as a base reference if it resembles your char idea... or to base your char off of something else.

Well the pictures are already copyrighted so it doesn't matter much if you use them as reference >>;; If it was classified as plagiarism, *which it is, except on a smaller scale* Then everyone with FMA sigs and Naruto and Inuyasha sigs or whatever would be in BIGGG trouble now wouldn't they? XD
