I came upon the idea for this thread when me and michico were talking about how we watched Chobits, and how we suffered. What are some animes that you HATE?

I personally don't like Inuyasha, Evangelion, Samuari Champloo, Chobits, Yu-gi-oh!, pokemon, Digimon, etc.

Anyone? I was just trying to get some input....

I hate wolfs reign and the boondocks.. (I don't even know if those are anime)

Me love Digimon XD The first season only though. Everything after kinda sucked.

Eureka 7 is headed down that path if it don't get good in the next two episodes...And on the cencer thing i think Mr Mystery changed the filter so it catchs anything to do with xplosions.

Let's see... anime series that I don't like..... there's Pokemon, Digimon, Yugi-oh, Eureka 7, that Bobobobo thing, and I think that's about it. I can't remember much right now -.-'

Naota is the main character aka Takkun, then there's Haru Haru Haruko (Vespa women), and Mamiji (his brothers old girlfriend). It was no problem explaining that to you.

I love FLCL. I wish it was just a bit longer. I like their music too, and the band called the Pillows who sings some of the songs in the show

I wish it was longer also the only thing i'm not sure how long they could have streached out the plot to make it to 12 or even 13 episodes. And yeah the music is good specially ride on shooting star.

I personally liked Last Dinosaur especially when I heard the actual song in the CD. But yeah, at first, I didn't understand the plot of FLCL until after I watched it 3 or 4 times

It takes us all at least 3 times to get it, it took me two full runs to get it...I liked how they took some pages out of the manga and incorporated it into some scencs ha ha....

Yeah, you don't see that happen in most anime series. It was interesting. It was like a moving manga thing. Like, it's an anime in manga form or something. The characters were drawn manga style, but they move just like in the anime.

Yeah the moving manga effect was good. And it was perfect how it scrolled through the pages for a couple of pages while still being somewhat animated.

Inuyasha should have ended after the band of Seven. I seen it from the middle untill the end of the band of seven.

Thank you for reminding me Spoon. I hate all 9 different Gundams. I can't stand not one of them. And you mean Mecha you hate. Mecha is anime with the big fighting robots not just Gundam.

Yu-Gi-Oh No! ( I LOATHE this show. Of all the things anime, this is the one I hate the most. It was meant to be a parody that was to be cancelled in six episodes, but people were just dumb enough to think it was ...cool? *stabs it with a spork* Die! Die!)
Inuyasha (Rumiko-chan cannot end ANYTHING)
Pokemon (although I love the concept... I took and... remedied... it.... Satoshi-san KILLED it, I swear - it had potential, and the show KILLED it...)

And yes, her series ARE long, but if you read the Inuyasha manga, most of the useless fillers are not there (Except Naraku still runs away or escapes alot)
Ranma, is supposed to be a comedy so it takes long for obvious reasons.

As for Gundams, I don't necessarily hate them, but you wouldn't see me watching them. The only one I thought was actually good was 8th MS team.

I have abit of a list, Nauruto (Yes I hate Nauruto Beleive it!), Inuasha, Pokemon, Yugio, Digimon.

I hate inuasha above all of them because it is easily the most redundant anime on television.

Edit: DBZ GT! Goku is not suposed to regress! I'd like to see him old instead of a child.

I hate: Inuyasha. The show got too long. Pokemon: Same thing. Bobobobobobo: It's just plain creepy and it it always gets off topic. The English Dub Of One Piece: The voices SUCK. They come up with cheesey lines and a lot of them do not know how to act. 4kids just edited one of the greatist anime and turned it into a pile of $***.


But I like the Japanese version of One Piece. That one rocks!!

Wolf's Rein IS an anime, someone before asked if it was and it is, It was great... but Kiba and Cheza were characters I couldn't stand.

Naruto, that anime is SO old and and SO overrated. It was killed by Fillers.

Digimon series 3 and 4. I'm sorry but I dont even consider those part of the great digimon series.

Wow... I feel so sorry for those who disliked Witch Hunter Robin. That was by far, one of my favorite anime series. >>;; You people don't understand the story so that's why. Read the Crucible first, maybe then you'll understand.
And Reign the Conqueror is only hated because of its different anime style. You call urselves anime fans? Just cuz they dont got huge googley eyes and perfectly anorexic bodies, its considered bad, right? So sad.

DBZ- GReat in the beginning but after Cell Saga, it went down the toilet.

8th MS team, the only Mecha I have respect for. All other Gundams are sad indeed...

Gundam Wing- In the Year Comet something or other blah blah. WTF are they talking about? Psh. Bad.

Gundam Seed- Holy SWEET SOPHIA, If u take the guys and give them boobs then all of them are girls! WOOHOO! What a DISGUSTING FUTURE AGHHH.

Candidate Goddess- Wow... Eww... what are they wearing? Eww...

Evangelion- Bad... Story... Animation... kinda poor... and messed up teens with way too many psychological problems. (That's why Insane Asylums were built you know.)
Shinji = Worse main character ever.

.Hack//Sign= Boring Boring Boring. Teh game was so much better. It's about an MMORPG so WHY AREN'T YOU DOING MMORPG THINGS?!? Tsukasa = Pre teen SHinji Ikari. Just dump him and PLAY THE GAME damit.

Yeah i just saw the ending of Inuyasha, and i have to say it fells like i wasted 160+ episodes of my life for nothing. What type of ending was that? They just spit in the faces of all the hardcore fans (whoever they may be). I just had to comment on that.

Hm. Here are more. And I'll be a bit nicer to some of the things I put up last time.

DBZ - I got so lost. I followed Dragonball a little, although I was young and dumb back then. Still... all it is is random violence and screaming.

Evangelion - Trying to be deep and philosophical, ended up annoying. It ended, by the way, three times.

.hack//... well, most of them - I LOVE the music, and the plot's a nice idea, but... I don't know.

Naruto - See Inuyasha (It got old FAST)

Gundam - I honestly believe this is what everyone thinks of when they hear 'mecha anime' - random flying about and shooting things. These fights are drawn out so long...

Bobobo'bobo'bobobo - I'm sorry, I just find it creepy.

Pokemon was okay at first... (AKA I used to follow it fanatically for a while) but still. The show ruined a great concept. Team Rocket was all that was worth watching.
