Title: Moderator Guidelines
Description: Updated: March 31st

FoxBox - August 15, 2005 08:53 PM (GMT)
I've written up some guidelines for the moderators. Read them.

1. If you feel a topic needs to be closed/moved/merged/etc...then do it. But if I feel that you've made a wrong decision, I'll just change it back.
1A)Topics that need to be closed:
1. Topics that have already been done.
2. Topics that are stupid and pointless.
3. You must move a topic if it isn't in the right place.
4. Topics that have strayed from their original topic and is now being used for spam (unless in spam section)
5. If you are unsure about a topic, pm me.
6. Inappropriate topics, such as "omg, come have sex with me." and threads like that. (These need to be DELETED)

2. If you feel that an user deserves a warning, please clearly state on the warning why they are warned. "Being bad" or "Stupid" are bad reasons.

3. Just because you're a mod, that doesn't mean you are excused to the rules. They apply to everyone (but me...cause i'm special). Mods may be given warnings as well. But you are suppose to set and example for the rest of the forum.

4. When you make important topics about guidelines and annoucements. It would be best for you to pin and close them to prevent people from spamming in them when you only need them to read it. Only important topics such as guidelines should be pinned.

5. Change your password every month. You can do so through "My controls". ALWAYS make a good hard-to-guess password. Here is an article about making good passwords

6. If you violate the rules, you will be demodded.

7. As a mod, you must use proper spelling.

Here is a list of some of the forum rules and how much their warning percentage is. If an user reaches a 100% warning, they are banned. If it is a repeated offense (same thing more then 3 times, then an instant ban will be in order).

For normal members, DO NOT ASK to be a moderator, it will only decrease your chances of being one. I will choose moderators for their maturity and responsibility levels from now on.

And to the normal members, if you see any mod abuse their powers, feel free to PM me with proof (like the address or a screenshot) and it will be taken cared of.
