What do you think about sigs? (just wondering, nothing would happen because of this poll's results)

I love sigs.

Without sigs or avatars everyone would be the same on the internet. There are people here that I identify by their sigs. O_o

Yes, you identify who they are and you get a little insight what they like, or what ever by what they put on it..xD or at least I Do

As you know already i'm not all that fond on sigs. They are okay. But i don't like them that much. They are okay for some people they are not for me.

I just think it's a fad. (yes I accidentily voted for the wrong option)

(I have sigs off since it adds more load time and they get in the way.. considering to change the limit to 600x300 or 600x350)

You think it's just a fad Mr. Mystery. I thought about cutting the sigs off when browsing but i don't feel like really doing that. If you notice i don't have a sig heh.

I wonder how long 56kers would last, although there are not that many 56kers, but there are still some.

Once in a while I would turn sigs on for a day to detect "too big" sigs.

If you mean 56k modems they are okay on here...but you get kind of fallen back on things after awhile....And now that i know this BB Code stuff a little better i just use the fast reply now.


Don't make me laugh. You turn on the option to detect "too big sigs" that's funny.....you should know what i mean by that.

They're a double-edged sword. For me, I would nomally merely have the penguin, although I've been threatened with various writing implements and pointy things if I take off the 'evil Ed'... <_<

True, you can see what people are like, and the banner in their sig is a good ID tool.... but sometimes, they're just obnoxious. It depends on what it is, I suppose.

Personally, I'm waiting for someone to make a 'Sig sig'- i.e. have a banner in their sig featuring Sig, and use it as a bad pun.

Eh i guess but some people just get a sig just to have one (like mr mystery said)....I think Avatars is the real way to set people apart from one another.

I think Sig are awsome, I get to put moving images for mine. and I put this fight scene for mine!!

Yeah you put a Gif file in your sig...Sometimes it makes the page load slower but other times it dont.

the whole reason of "no sigs larger than 100kb"
