i hope this is ok but im just taping together posts from the rp topics that i made for nathen:
finding the philosofers stone
least 200-250 greedy people were mining in the mountains after word got out that someone hit gold, a greedy homoculi that could use alchemy had made a transmutation circle around all of the people, but one of them knew what it was, he was able to escape in time.but right before the homoculi had killed all of them, an earthquake had cause a cave in. so they were all sacrificed to the stone, but since the earthquake the stone was buried under the mountain. now 1 person was able to escape alive, but the stone had gotten his leg and the earthquake hit him with a few rocks. so he didnt get far but just by chance a boy by the name of nathen lionheart was walking the scenic route of the mountain when a man with blood and dirt all over him grabbd his leg. nathen had nursed the man back to health but still the injurey was too large and he had lost too much blood. right before the man died he has told nathen everything about what had happend. nathen knew alot about philosopher's stone, so this story caught his interest. nathen knew what he had to do. he told the man that he would find the stone,(what nathen didnt tell him was his plan to sell it to the millitary for a kazillion dollars). finally the man had passed away, nathen threw the body in to a hole, kicked some dirt on him and ran off to go buy some mining picks.
at the general store in town nathen had bought some picks with the money he found in some peoples wallets. right before he had stated his trip up the mointain to the mining area he needed some people to help him, so he sat by the door of the gereral store holding a sign that said "mining help needed, $100 per person, with/without souls" so there he was waiting for help.
Rayne and Liza just happened to be wondering in the Area and spotted the sign "mining help needed, $100 per person, with/without souls"
"Ohhh! I love minning!" Liza siad and looked around for a personal or employee.
"you've never mined in your entire life!," Rayne said and pulled on her ear "Lets go, this place gives me the creeps. Like a soul graveyard or sumthin'" and lites a cigarette.
nathen notices the woman saying she loves to mine, nathen imidiatly runs up to her and says would you like to mine? you can make 100 cens says the boy trying to sound optimistic but sounds undoutably desperate
Liza's eyes widen, "Ohh,Look Rayne a little boy just asked me if I wanted to Mine!! Of course we do!"
"What do you mean WE?" Rayne said sounding annoyed and looked at the little boy,"What do yu wanna' mine for anyway kid?"
nathens eyes were wide open, he didnt think of a cover story, he studerd for a second and then said, "gold, if you help me find it ill cut you in on some of it" said nathen
Rayne put on a fake grin, "Sure kid!! you got a poor family or sumthin? no prob!"
Liza was whisteling the whole way as the boy led them to the mine, "This place is sure dark...kinda creepy.."
nathen handed each of them a pick
Xavior Konen stepped in throught the door and said" Whew its cold in here, WOW! you people scared me! I read an advertisement about $100? Do uh you all know what this is about?"
ray dashed in and started using his pick axe
" This place gives me the creeps! What are we mining again?" asked Xavior.
gold said nathen throwing ray and xavior a pick
Rayne was getting dirt on him from Ray as he was shoviling dirt.
"Minning..Minning lots of finding!!" Liza was singing out loud as it echoed through the mine, the walls began to shake.
nathen heard the walls shake and ran up to liza clasping his hand over her mouth looking at the walls he said "no singing"
Liza slumped on the ground and began to sob, the walls began to crumble.
"Liza Stop!!"Rayne yelled at her
nathen pulled out a stone tablet and clapped it suddenly stone staues apeared from the groundand they grew taller and taller then then stuck there arms up holding the cave
"I hate mining!!" Rayne yelld and threw his pick down.Then he grabbed nathan by the collar,"would you spare your life if one of us were to die?!!!"
Liza was still on the ground playing with the pick and crying softly to herself.
"no, the plans i have ahead with the phil... gold will be more important then saving your lives if you cant save your own" said nathen coldly
"What did you say!?!" exclaimed Xavior shocked by what he heard.
ray jumped out his hole, then starting digging next to it.
nathen looked at xavior, "i said that i wont save your lives if you you can save your own"
Xavior nodded unitimidated and suspiciously "Understood... Alchemist. My only question is could you defend yourself? I guess we'll see..." going back to mining.
ray gave up on that hole he was digging and fell into a ditch. ray screamed rattling the walls as he fell. two minutes later an echo came "hey, guys there's another level!"
"Another level? What do you see?!" Xavior exclaimed
nathen ran over to the hole and saw that there was another level at least 20 ft high nathen jumped down the hole and turned up the oil lamp to reveil a giant underground cavern "well start digging" said nathen to ray
"Diggin' more !!! I can't stand digging!!" Rayne yelled.
"Yeah and this whole place is screwy! Weve been digin for hours and we havent seen a glint of gold!" Xavior said frustrated.
"well, i'm gonna go see the rest of this tunnel, i might find something!" ray said and walked into the darkness, his eyes glowing slightly dim red. his footsteps echoing over and over again.
"Hmm... looks dangerous... hey wait!" but Xavior couldnt see him anymore.
