Insane Lady

Saw that on a MySpace bulletin. The bulletin addressed her as a "bitch".

She uses religion to say that it's good for the soldiers to die. It's okay for people to die in 911. It's not okay for people to be gay. But it really doesn't mean god wants the stuff that the lady wants. God and religion is just a reason she and the people made up to back up why think they it's great for the soldiers to die.

You thoughts on this?...

Judging by the part about people dying, I'd say she's a genuine believer rather than a manipulator of religious doctrine. If anything, she's more dangerous that way.

I kind of pity this poor woman. She was sadly born into a family of fanatics, and, with time, they brainwashed her. A pity. A true pity.

I dunno...this little rant is all based on the asumption that God does exist ( I myself don't believe in him, but if you do, that's cool). A lot of people just use religion as justification for their own beliefs. Are we really to believe that God created a person/persons just to have them die. No..I don't think anyone would really believe that he (if he does in fact exist) would make a person just to kill them later. I don't think that God really wants anyone to die, but he wants people to learn from their mistakes. People die in war because other people have beliefs that conflict with the first individuals. This turmoil leads to wars and hate and predjeduce and violence. So yeah....people who use religion as justification for ideals are just trying to find a reason to say what they want to say without people attacking them.

They believe God is killing soldiers because they are defending a country that allows gays. They go around protesting gays and soldiers funerals. One of their....lets say colorful slogans is "Thank God for Improvised Explosive Devices"

And they're talking about the same country that has the whole 'sanctity of marriage' controversy, and the same country that works so hard to make it into a stigma....

As long as the U.S doesn't have laws banning gays(not just gay marriage but being gay) and stiff penalties for breakin these laws (long prison sentences and/or death) then they believe the U.S is supporting gays.

People like this sincerely scare me. I mean, there is nothing scarier or more dangerous than someone who believes that what they are doing is absolutely right...

I know she is not the only one to believe that, nor is this the first time I have heard such arguments. It is, however, one of the more frightening ones... try going to family.org if you want more of that terror.

If she's going to go by the christian bible, then isn't it against the rules to kill? That's like, the third or fourth commandment if I am not mistaken... ><

It never says that gays are wrong - only that it's wrong for a man to molest a child. That's another thing that bugs me, and I'm not even that religion! If you're going to rant, get the facts straight, at least, that it's not all cut-and-dried. Oh, and you might want to study Leviticus and Numbers, too, if you're going to take it all literally.

But a lot of christians just cherry pick verses when it suits them. The bible is filled with murder and other disgusting things, but I've never seen a vese saying not to molest a children.

ok religions is a very interesting think 'god or gods' origanly came from greek anrd rome.But if you look at it religion in ways can be set up so that people believe that they have somewhere to go once they deal with life and go back to heavan.Thus keeping people from commiting suicide since theyre life would be pointless. That and people really wanted to belive that if they were good theyd get rewarded for it later on.All religion at one time was just one religion untill people didnt like what they heard and moddifyed it or misunderstood it and told it rong thus making more religion .Exsistance in itself is probably the most confusing thing in the world.If god created everything then who made god and so on.Its somthing will never find out untill we die.Or will never find out but the big bang theory cant be right since somthing would have to of formed the start that exploded.Plus like they say in fma if the big bang theory was right it is possable to make a human but theyre is a a soul witch man kind cant develope but on the other hand.You're attitude is formed as you grow up and in a way you're attitude is you're soul oh well i gues will never know like lust says
