Title: My Theroy of Alchemy and The Gate
Description: One of my crazy theorys...
Keeper_of_the_Gate - March 17, 2006 06:56 PM (GMT)
I have looked this up a long time ago during the middle ages there was no gate but sience and beliefs created Alchemy, Alchemist would only use there powers to change rock into gold for there side of there army, now along the way a powerful wepeon was made a wepeon that could cast any enemy into the vast deeps of hell this wepeon came to be known as the "red stone" the wepeon was to powerful they feared that there enimes will harnass its power so they created a bound between them and us that bound is the Gate within the gate there is nothing but the othere side people feared the gate so the "Alchmy Side" (which is the other side) and us was sealeed with the deystruction of the stone, time past everyone either died or never mentioned the horrors that was held in the middle ages thus making it a secret time flew by on ourside and science devolped far beyound anyones belief yet on the other side of the gate alchemy was slowly tearing it apart allowing it never to devolp for example in the show while the uprisng versus the true state alchemist ( roy and his numoris brigade) battled the hermunculie the other side of the gate held WWII and its problems which featured americians wich on the other side is the true alchemists and the germens the hermunclies. Rapping this up the stone is impossible for it is in the gate the gate can not be reached because alchemy doesent exsit here because we were purified from the stone during the creation of the gate (destruction of the stone) the gate cannot be reached...... yet.

sorry to shoot this down.. but more spacifically it wasnt midevil times it was more in the times of BC and Egyptian times, and not rocks into gold but LEAD into gold, Chemistry wise it has been proven impossible to change one basic element into another. If alchemy was real to that extent i dont think it would be impossible for us to find it..
Also the germans werent the humonculi.. The germans were actually represented as Fuhrer king bradly and the military, sorry to say and the jews were the Ishbalans and such. If the gate did exist the power of one meere stone would not be able to lock it, we have jsut forgotten how to use it and such..we wont know till we die so yeah..lol
my crazed theory:
Stonehenge is possibly a giant transmutation circle their to open up the gate.
Egyptians and their pyramids also had somthing to do with the gate, obviously the all seeing eye is part of them too, in our world our laws are set and cannot be changed, alchemy cannot be done here unless we find the loopholes or actuall rules that apply to this world. I honestly do not believe it is real, though i would like to very much..lol

You want crazy FMA based theories?
Let's take alchemy out of the FMA reality for a moment. It becomes fundamentally identical to our own world, as far as the laws of physics go. Thus, all of the same rules apply to it.
That means the rules for interacting with other realities applies as well: energy spent to do things in that reality that wastes out feeds alchemy or magic or whatever in the next world.
Wouldn't the reverse be true as well? Isn't our world being fed by energy from another reality?
Then it hit me. Ghosts, the placebo effect, all of the supernatural phenomenon of the world are crafted by human belief, the power of suggestion. Or is it willpower? The willpower of those with potential to our equivolent of alchemy shapes our world according to their beliefs.

what i ment by hermunculies being the germens is that the Fuher is in fact a hermunculie and the herumunculies are pulling the some of the strings making them in fact leaders of the military, but yes i should have made it more clear. after looking it up u were right :) but its not just lead its base metals and the stone created the gate not locked it i dident say my theroy was flawless but in some ways it is practical. In the dictionary it states that is a medievil chemicial art, also while looking it up the word alchemist means someone who studies or practices alchemy by that i would concure that we are infact alchemist this is basicly studying it right?

You kids and your lamebrained theories. Good call on the Egyptology thing though, Roy. Actually, heiroglyphics show the gold making process of ancient egypt, which include alchemic symbols such as the Oro-Boros. The Lady, Cleopatra actually had her own method with which had a HUGE Oro-Boros inscribed in the method.
And did you also know that you can't FIND the stone? You have to create it... which is complicated... In fact, you DO have to use human sacrifices.. but they can't be just average schmo's you meet on the road *sips cocoa*. ahh... anyway. There are three humans involved in making the stone. The Alchemist, and a man and woman sacrifice. Which gets even more complicated... The man and woman MUST be (according the the Emerald Tablet and research on The Book of Abraham the Jew) two people who are VERY close to you, ie. Mom and Dad; close friends; siblings.
*sips cocoa again*
and to be brutally honest, and I hope you don't take this personally... TRANSMUTATION CIRCLES are false... almost. The only RECORDED circle used for transmutations of elements is in fact.... ~The Grand Arcanum~ though, it's not as complex as it is in FMA... it's a simple circle/triangle/square/circle, then come the sacrifices.
*another sip* <-- damn good cocoa.
I perform alchemy, and it's not all about clapping hands and what not. the only clapping that really would go on is you clapping in success... >.<; it's a very long and drawn out process... even extracting ores from basic metals gets tedious. The most fun experiment I've done yet is the basic "Purple Rock" experiment. Using heat and a few other elements, you can change a normal metal into a purple color, then with applied heat and a little molding, you can make a shape! =3 it's rather fun to do when you're bored.

How do u do that Black Alchemist?
Black Alchemist - March 19, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
How do I do what? *suffers from short term memory loss* >.<; and who the feck's black alchemist?

That.

oh... yeah, that... well, I don't really feel like explaining it... and it's been so long I forgot most of the steps. =D;... just look it up! xDDD

Nirako - March 19, 2006 05:32 AM (GMT)
Du musst nur Englisch sprechen, Siegfried.
Now, is there much more to discuss at this point, or will things degrade into a yes-no war?
Mustang - March 19, 2006 09:58 AM (GMT)

Crimson Alchemist - March 20, 2006 04:52 PM (GMT)
It's german, talk of a Nazi...I luv it!!
Sloth - March 20, 2006 11:33 PM (GMT)
I need the philosophers stone in order to become human
Keeper_of_the_Gate - March 21, 2006 12:34 AM (GMT)
Show me either a picture or video of a real transmution i wont believe u about u transmuting ore :P

BA: No! I am called Siegfried, and you?
Me: You must only speak english, Siegfried.
Keeper: Give me raw sodium and a drop of water and all show you how to make water explode. I knew this trick before Ed ever fought Sloth.

stories of alchemy and the sorcerer's stone are aged old stories...
hey come to think of it..harry potter's 1st book was about the philosopher's/sorcerer's stone
Dark General - April 8, 2006 11:05 AM (GMT)
Actually alchemy used to be real. You couldn't just draw a circle and poof that was it.But had to know the composition of what you were experimenting on.It usually took a couple of days to actually complete your task.It was during the middle ages if i remember right.Actually it says that Da Vinci and Nostradomas was into alchemy when they used to studie things. It also anther fact that is was highly frowned apon and concitered devil's magic (like Ishbalens). The Grand Arkanem has fabled stories as well like being able to turn certain elements to gold.
Xorital - April 12, 2006 01:02 AM (GMT)
iv read up alot of facts and myths on alchemy and the philosophers stone, iv even found ingrediants like the purple gold thing and among other things, Iam unable to perofrm thees things not only for the lack of ingrediance I have but also my parents would never allow me messing with random chemicals.

Dark General - April 16, 2006 06:29 AM (GMT)
I know but with as many evident facts it makes it all the more plausable. Not to mention i saw all of this on the history channel.
Keeper_of_the_Gate - November 25, 2006 04:40 AM (GMT)
wow almost a year ago i wrote this post, its amazing how one theory of mine created a big topic in The Gate.... i saw the da vinci code, a couple days ago and it kind of put thoughts in my head... so ready yourself for a new theory of mine! =D
Xorital - December 22, 2006 09:52 PM (GMT)
iv never seen the Davinchi code but i heard lots of christians complained about it.
