Title: The Lightning Alchemist Diary-thing

Lightning Alchemist - July 20, 2005 11:57 AM (GMT)
Today I feel: <_< Mostly because I almost got heatstroke yesterday at my martial arts class- it was over 100 degrees in the studio (and they have no AC) and I started getting all dizzy and tired.

I was so red afterwards- it wasn't even funny. And the T-shirt I was wearing under my uniform was soaking wet.

So as soon as I got home I took a shower and collapsed onto my bed and fell asleep- and that's the story.

stevo - July 20, 2005 05:17 PM (GMT)
That has got to suck.

Lightning Alchemist - July 21, 2005 02:09 PM (GMT)
Totally. I felt like crap the next morning.

Lightning Alchemist - July 21, 2005 02:10 PM (GMT)
I hope that the weather isn't brutally hot today. (It has been here for the past week.) Maybe I'll be able to get some skateboarding in today- if my legs would stop hurting. <_< Growing pains...

stevo - July 21, 2005 06:37 PM (GMT)
You skateboard? Skateboarding as awesome.

Black Alchemist - July 21, 2005 07:03 PM (GMT)
so you're finally getting taller..?

Yup. I'm glad- I thought that maybe I was doomed to be short all my life. But now I'm growing pretty quickly, even though I'm still pretty short for my age.

Black Alchemist - July 22, 2005 04:12 AM (GMT)
lol, I'm glad I'm not short... b/c I'm irish... and ppl would think I was a leprechaun!!

Lightning Alchemist - July 22, 2005 11:56 AM (GMT)
That would be so funny though!

Lightning Alchemist - July 22, 2005 11:58 AM (GMT)
So anyway- today I have to go babysit the kids down the street at 12:30... <_< I hate babysitting, my mom arranged it without asking me- but at least I get paid good money.

I have to watch them until 5:30, but I get a sweet $30 for it. (Plus, I get to swim in their inground pool- with a diving board! Diving board! :D <-- As you can probably tell, I love diving boards.)

General_Hughes - July 22, 2005 04:31 PM (GMT)
Hey can I go and help you watch the kids.

I know , I know and then we can play Twister yayyyyyyy

stevo - July 22, 2005 05:56 PM (GMT)
I hate babysitting. The kids always get on your nerves.

Lightning Alchemist - July 22, 2005 10:09 PM (GMT)
I made it back alive from babysitting- although I felt slightly mauled.

 *Starts having psychological breakdown* NO, YOU CANNOT SPRAY SUNTAN LOTION ON THE COUCH! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE STOP!!!

 I think that I was stuck with those kids too long...

Lightning Alchemist - July 24, 2005 10:57 AM (GMT)
I have to go to my baby cousin's baptism today... <_< *Grumbles* I have to wear uncomfortable "nice" clothes- I hate dressing up...

General_Hughes - July 24, 2005 01:15 PM (GMT)
wow you are all around kids lol

stevo - July 25, 2005 05:33 PM (GMT)
LOL

Lightning Alchemist - July 26, 2005 12:27 PM (GMT)
Kids like me- it kinda gets annoying after a while, though. Especially when all of my ten year old cousins mob me and beg me to play with them.

Lightning Alchemist - July 28, 2005 11:13 PM (GMT)
Today I had an orthodontist appointment- :ph43r: I had to have my bondings on the backs of my teeth ground off, and have a new retainer attached. Unfortunately, the "grinding" part was extremely painful (I should know- I've gone through it eight times before. <_< Every time, it leaves my teeth more and more sensitive...) and basically, it was pure hell.

Now, I am no wimp, but I couldn't help myself from flinching (in other words, having full body muscle spasms and jerking my hands up, which resulting in knocking into the tray thing that's attached to the chair) when the dentist was doing the grinding/drilling part. I am just so relieved that it's over and done with- hopefully for the last time.

Lightning Alchemist - August 3, 2005 01:18 PM (GMT)
I'm back from "vacation"- (which was staying at a house upstate doing nothing for four days <_<) Oh, and I have "walking pneumonia". Which is basically pneumonia except that I'm able to walk. And so I must journey to the doctor's office today. Joy.

stevo - August 3, 2005 05:32 PM (GMT)
That sucks. Welcome back. Have a good vacation?

Yeah, it was good- I got to shoot the crap out of some targets and cans with my dad's 22 caliber long shot. It was so fun to shoot my little brother's Rocket Power boogeyboard (it was broken anyway, so he didn't care) and I blew up Otto's face on it.

stevo - August 5, 2005 04:38 PM (GMT)
Lol, that must've been fun.

Lightning Alchemist - August 12, 2005 07:01 PM (GMT)
I just got the internet back today- I haven't had it for over a week, so that's why I haven't been here.

Rough times have befallen my family, and we couldn't pay the internet bill...

stevo - August 13, 2005 03:32 PM (GMT)
That sucks. Sorry.

Lightning Alchemist - August 13, 2005 08:30 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the sympathy- we'll be okay, we've been through things like this before, so we know how to handle it.

brunettegirl - November 15, 2005 11:05 PM (GMT)
