Dear Deception,
I could say, “I love you”.
I could dance like a fool.
My voice could waver at
the sight of you. Cool beads
of rain could cloud my eye
because love moved me to.
But none on this list would
be true. I can say that
my skies are a soft blue,
the rain kisses, sun beams
hug me warm inside out,
and songs inside my throat
never go away. These
things are true, when it comes
to the thought of you. My
rock, tough, through Deadly’s mud
like problems. Realize
that this is your surprise.

Deception's kindness has inspired me! Now a little background about my poem. It was a school assignment where I would write a "letter" poem to someone. Sorry that my poem couldn't have been better. These were my guidelines so if it sounds akward this is why...
Nouns Verbs Adjectives
tamarack to kiss blue
throat to curve hot
belief to swing soft
rock to ruin tough
frog to bite important
dog to cut wavering
slag to surprise sharp
eye to bruise cool
cloud to hug red
mud to say leather
Use five nouns, five verbs (conjugate as you will), and five adjectives from the above lists and write a poem as follows:
Six beats to the line.
Six lines to the stanza.
Three stanzas.
At least two internal and one external slant rhyme per stanza (avoid full rhyme if possible).
Maximum of two end stops per stanza.
Clear English grammatical sentences. All sentences must make sense.
Title the poem as a letter addressed to someone or something (title is the salutation and doesn’t count as one of the lines).
Note: Your poem will have more than just these words in it (that is, you can use articles, conjunctions, adverbs, and other nouns, verbs, and adjectives).
Wow! I like it, made my day!! Thanx
Thank you! I'm glad I made someone's day!
