As for Winry, I like her in the manga. Anime Winry is kinda like a cheerleader....Rooting for the heroes on the sideline, but not actually doing anything. No offense meant.

ScarxMei Chan I see as more of a daughter-father thing, or a big brother-little sister thing, or maybe even an uncle and niece thing. Something family wise.

I like ScarxLust in the anime, too.

As for GreedxMartel, I can easily see it, but I prefer DorochettexMartel. I just can't see Greed settling down. GreedxIzumi is just too hilarious for words. GreedxLust is just pure fanservice, but still really funny xD

Sloth with Greed....Eh, can't see it. Sloth's personality is kinda dull. And Greed does deserve the best.

AlxMei is adorable, look at them. Mei Chan kept envisioning Ed as a TALL, KIND, STRONG, and (in his actual body) handsome man. Who does that sound like? Then there is Al, who worked his butt off to save Mei Chan from Envy and Wrath. It clicked for me right from the start.

Scar seems to like cute little things. Like cats, as well saw in one omake, Xiao Mei, and, of course, Mei. He's a softy all right!

Ran Fan versus Mei Chan was.....infuriating. I didn't know who to root for. Thank goodness for good ol' Dr. Knox for interfering!

Those three are just awesome to watch in battle. All of their moves are so original and awesome!

Ling, about to be strangled and stabbed by Envy, kicks dust in Envy's eyes, seizes the arm that Envy made into a blade, uses it to cut off the arm that Envy turned into a snake, than whirls around and chops off his thigh! It was almost hypnotic. Not to mention Ling fought off Gluttony and Wrath at the same time while carrying Ran Fan on his back.

Ran Fan countered every one of Envy's moves and slashed him down, seeing through every single one of his diguises, even the dog one. Awesome xD

Than there is Mei, who lifted a collapsed mine and cleared it out perfectly, healed Scar's bullet wound, beat up ed and Al at the same time while rescuing Scar (Did you see the look on Scar's face? XD) then causes an explosion of sorts to get away.


Xing people REALLY know how to fight :o

Also, not to mention that Mustang is from the East as well. Some place in Xing, they mentioned xD. Boy that was odd... Like he does look asian, but now the manga is SOLID proof! Sick...

Manga = Love *sigh* Its heaven...

I am actually pretty surprised by myself. I usually go crazy for pairings in shows, but not FMA. I just don't really see a lot of "love" kind of things going on.

But.

Roy/Riza.
And.
Ed/Winry.

I like those pairings.

But you must have awesome fighting skills like Ling, Ran Fan, and Mei, so why?

However, there is another thing that I love about the manga that you didn't mention:

Ed doesn't make me want to burn things. I actually like manga Ed (He's not as awesome as manga Al, of course, but still) He's WAY more funny, more mature, he cooperates with others, admits his mistakes, and actually mourns over his lost friends! (I mourns for Hughes for two whole chapters, and even considers quitting his journey. He even started crying when he saw Gracia crying! That was one time when I actually wanted to hug poor Ed. I also wanted to hug the guy when he was facing Envy's tumors. How they reminded him of Nina, and when one of them thanked Ed for killing him...Ed started crying! It was so sad)

Manga Ed is also really funny.

Al: Ed, you're gonna hit a girl?!
Ed: I'M NOT SEXIST!

Ed: the Stone...creatures called homunculi...
