how do u beat fullmetal genz?

Yeah, I had a bit of trouble the first time I fought his Fullmetal form too...

It seems like he has a lot of HP, but he doesn't. He just has really high Defense and really low HP.

Most of your attacks will only do 1 damage to him, so transmute weapons that attack fast (But if their attack power is too weak you won't do damage) or can hit an enemy more than once at a time. (i.e. Boomerang, Razor Ring)

Oh yeah, if you have a Frenzy Special Attack, use it and if you get him around the middle of the transmutation circle, you should wipe out a good chunk of his life bar. Normal Special Attacks work alright too, but they'll do less damage and since they don't stop time he might jump away.

Another way to defeat him is to transmute cannons. There's some junk around the room you can transmute into Cannons. Transmute em all, and if he comes to the lower level of the room, hop onto one and shoot like crazy. Then get to the other Cannon on the lower level and shoot like crazy, or reload the Cannon you were in and shoot again. Keep repeating it till he eventually dies.

NOTE: Al will probably try to attack him every now and then, so atleast give him a weapon if you're gonna let him attack.

thanks that really helps but i was wondering would the dagger tricked out with the wind element do anygood?

and what do u mean by get him in the middle of the trasmutaion circle?

The Wind Dagger? Depends on how high your Attack stat is-if it's too low, it won't even scractch Genz...

About the Transmutation Circle thing, what I mean is when you use the Frenzy Special Attack be really close to him, so that he'll actually take the damage. He doesn't have to be in the middle but atleast in the circle for the Special to work.

About the year thing...well, yeah, but I was away for a long time...almost a year...more like about half of a year. So busy with school, y'know? But this year I have less homework, nicer teachers, etc. Gives me more time on the site.

i tried to use the dagger didnt do ant damage
and also i only have
1 frenzy potion
4 speicial poitions
and 0 special tokens

I've beaten this one and the second one more than once...so the way to beat him is to attack from below, but be very creful!! Somtimes he'll figure out ur strategy so try another way. Anything else?

If you don't wanna have to use the Frenzy Potion, then stay outside the mansion for a bit and kill people. (They'll respawn if you leave the area and then come back)

Eventually Frenzy should come on...but don't save, or the Frenzy will go off. Then use it on him. And if you're really willing you could use your Frenzy Potion after you've used the Special to do it again.

If everything suggested in the topic fails, then train until you get to a really high level.

omg i had the same problem and its really annoying and i still can't beat him..... maybe i should stick to my DDR and CS and WoW.. lol
