Rose is probably the most hated female character in Fullmetal Alchemist. I think that's a shame, because I loved her character. Please don't tell me I'm alone on this. :(

I hate it when people say she's a wimp or something. Let's take a look at what she had to go through:


Her boyfriend dying
All her fate crashing down on her
The thoughts of her boyfriend ever returning shattered
Her village almost completely destroyed
Rape
Having a bastard(Not the insult, the father-less meaning) child
Having to raise that child on her own.
Village destroyed...again
Almost getting killed by a homunculus


And the rest is spoilers for the next few episodes.


I'd feel pretty damn helpless too. It's not her fault she's a normal girl who can't use alchemy.

Not "love" I would say, but she did not want him arrested or dead.

Well, he wanted the military punsihed (and Rose probably isn't fond o the military -__-) and wanted to save the people, so he might have been.

You forgot to add that her parents died when she was a little girl...

Meh, Rose is okay. I can't say I'm a fan of her though.

Dont forget that her religion totally backfired on her. Poor girl, I like her alot better than winry... i dunno why. But since i dislike Ed, the pairings should be EdxWinry and AlxRose! XDD

Al WAS nice to rose, he told her their life story when Ed was too ignorant to do so. In episode 2? I think?

Oh yeah and then there was that part when al was like "I hope Rose is ok."
And Ed's like "Who's that?"
That was messed up...

He does that to Greed and Scar too, and maybe even Lust. He just wants to forget them cuz their 'bad people'. "Who's that?" of his is kinda... grr...

Krazy, I agree with Ed not really caring about when Lust and all the others died.

There is a fanfiction where the author makes him care more about Lust's death, and said that Lust desired to be human more than the other Homunculi because she was the closest Transmutation to succeed. After I read that, I really got ticked off at Ed.

In the episode, he just stands there and says her name! He may felt a little bad about it, but still! She helped him and died trying!

Now, I'm just rambaling.... so, back to the subject. I don't hate Rose.

I really don't hate any charector in the series except Dante and Pride. Oh, and Yoki, a minor charactor.

Well, at first I didn't like Rose ( I don't know why) but later when I fouud out ALL the things she's been put through I had to give some respect!!! Poor baby ( I'm talking about Rose)- I feel REALLY SORRY for her. People, if any of yall are out there reading this- HAVE MERCY ON HER SOUL 'cause she's been through a WHOLE LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
