First of all, if you haven't read about the general beliefs this won't mean anything to you anyway. So do that first.

This will explain, generally, the uses and rarity of various items that can be purchased from the point system. I'm always looking for more, so feel free to suggest some new additions.

Plants.

Huckleberry
This plant is good for small cuts or scrapes. Sometimes, wolves with a sore throat will chew on some of this herb to ease the tenderness.

Bee-balm
Bee-balm is often given to small pups when they eat to much. It aides in digestion and helps to settle the stomach. A large amount is needed for the same effect in adult wolves.

Chamomile
This herb is extremely common and many wolves use it to help them fall asleep. Mothers may line their dens with Chamomile to ease their pups to sleep. Some wolves simply keep the herb near their sleeping areas for the aroma, but some eat the herb to help them sleep.

Chickweed
Chickweed is a bit stronger, though slightly rarer than huckleberry. It also helps heal cuts, rashes, bites, or stings. Often times, it is wet before use so that more of the plant's juices come into contact with the affected area.

Comfrey
This herb, while relatively common, is extremely useful to all those who practice healing. Most commonly know for it's general ability to slow bleeding, it is also used to speed the mending of bones, help with many various skin conditions or ailments, and even aid with arthritis pains.

Dandelion
Dandelion is an extremely common herbal treatment known to almost all wolves. These common weeds, when eaten, help calm an upset stomach.

Elderberries
These berries are an uncommon treat to wolves. They have an excellent taste and help to clear the bodies' systems which, in turn, generally keeps the wolf healthier.

Evening Primrose
This herb is somewhat uncommon, but not impossible to find. When eaten, it is a great help to sore muscles, achy joints, and other body pains. Many older wolves try to make this a general part of their diet.

Wild Grapes
Wild grapes are more of a treat to wolves than an herbal remedy, but the seeds that are inadvertently ingested are full of antioxidants. Because of this, wolves that are recovering from illness, injury, or pregnancy are often given lots of grapes to help their bodies bounce back.

Hawthorne Bark
When chewed, this bark is rumored to help keep the heart healthy. Many young wolves in their prime visit shamans often for this remedy to keep them in tip top shape.

Juniper Berries
These berries are a little hard to find but well worth it. If a wolf has any urinary or digestive issues, juniper berries are almost always prescribed. The bitter tasting berries are well known for curing such ailments.

Clover
Another commonly found and used herb, sweet tasting clover is a wonderful cough suppressant. Wolves swear by it, and it is very common for mothers to know where the most patches are for their pups.

White Willow Bark
This is one of the rarer barks but when chewed, the juices help heal any body aches that a wolf may have. Headaches, backaches, and general soreness are the most commonly aided complaints.

Witch Hazel Bark
Witch Hazel is an extremely important treatment for any wolf that claims to know about herbal healing. It is relatively elusive though in high demand. When wet, the flexible bark is highly astringent. This is very important to ward off infection of large and small wounds alike.

Stones.

Amazonite
This green stone can be a dark, rich color all the way to a soft, sea foam color. Generally, this stone is kept around to instill confidence into the wearer or holder. It is relatively common, but it still takes work to find a nice piece.

Amethyst
This brilliant purple stone is very common but is just as often kept by wolves. The stone is said to keep the bearer spiritually centered and grounded. If placed in a den, or commonly visited place, partially buried, it is said to be even more effective.

Citrine
Citrine is a beautiful yellow to orange stone that many wolves keep around to enhance their mood. Some wolves wear this in order to keep it's effects closer to them, but others keep the stones in their dens or a special, secret place.

Lapis Lazuli
This is a powerful stone and fairly rare. Rough lapis is a dull blue color, but very rarely, a polished lapis stone can be found in river beds or streams. The polished stone is a brilliant, deep blue color. This stone is said to help it's bearer see things more clearly and keep a steady mind. It may also be used to clear the body.

Moss Agate
Moss agate is a sought after stone for those that spend a lot of time contemplating nature. The clear to whitish stone is mottle with green crystals that, not surprisingly, resemble moss and other plants. This stone is said to give it's bearer more knowledge of the plants and natural environment around them.

Black Onyx
This stone is very rare but very powerful. It is said to aid in changing bad habits for good.

Pearl
The pearl is another rare stone, and, as most wolves know, is found in the shells of oysters, which are difficult for wolves to open anyway. The stone, if found, is supposed to help it's bearer love themselves. It gives confidence and self-love, which is said, after some time, to translate out and help it's bearer find true love.

Sapphire
This rare, bright blue stone is said to bring it's keeper metal clarity and a fresh perspective. Often times, wolves in high positions call on this stone for important decisions.

Tree Agate
Tree agate is very similar to moss agate, though it is more "viney" looking than "mossy". This is a very gentle stone and helps calm the wolves who come near it. It also promotes introspection and inner thought.

Other Items.

Bear Claw
These, for obvious reasons, are very, very rare. The more one possesses, the more intense the effects. Bear claws are said to give their owner power and an extremely steady mind. Often times, these are sought after, not so much for their actual usage, but for glory.

Moose Antler
Like bear claws, if a pair of antlers is possessed, the effects are intensified over a single antler. For similar reasons, these are somewhat uncommon. These large, bony antlers give their holder strong protection and strength, often more of mind, than body. Still, the confidence that comes with the protection of the moose is often enough to boost the strength of most wolves.

Deer Skin
The dried skin of this creature, while difficult to find relatively intact, gives the owner a connection to the earth and grounding. This is important for wolves with a lot of power so they do not become overwhelmed and/or power-hungry.

Bird-of-Prey Feathers
The larger and more deadly the bird, the stronger the effect of the feathers. These are said to give the holder better sight, in both the present, past, and future, though the affects are sometimes debated.

Elk Skull with Attached Antlers
This is a very rare item that usually only shamans possess. The skull is said to bring the shaman extreme protection and forethought. This item is often used when important healings or rituals are being performed.
