Title: Lenin

Lenin - March 23, 2008 12:27 AM (GMT)
OOC Name; Pazz
Character Name; Lenin
Age; 3.5 Yrs
Gender; Male
Spirit Animal; Female Brown Bat
Appearance;
Lenin has a large build, with a set of broad shoulders. But he is no where near the largest male on the planet. In fact he carries a more toned, lithe figure rather than bulk muscle. Built for agility and enduring lengthy combat, he has been considered a reputable fighter. Although if he were to be attack by brute force he would need to keep on his feet to win the fight, or he would lose due to lack of natural strength. He has a few minor scars, a toe on his right foreleg with the fur permanently burned off, and a scar across the space where his jaw meets his throat. Lately he has taken on the look of ‘a bag of bones’, he has lost the will to care for his own health/appearance.

As for his dashing good looks tainted by a dark sparkle, many wouldn’t stop to think before calling him handsome. The thick pelt is a primary shade of onyx with a sleek luster that glints with light. The virus did not forget to mutate his genes however, and he too was touched with colors. His coat has a collection of dark indigo and navy blue only visible in the light of day. He has a rumpled ring of indigo around his neck, some indigo on the backs of his forelegs, the tips of his ears are indigo, and some streaks mixed in with his tail hairs. The navy fur blends in mildly on his cheeks, the fronts of his back thighs, a small stripe along his spine, and again they are thrown in with the indigo in his tail. His eyes, however, are not so colorful. A pale shade of silver, with a hint of steel blue; they look like the sky after days of torrential downpour.

Personality;
Disillusioned and cynical, he isn’t always the most enjoyable company. Lenin lacks the capacity to care about another’s feelings, and will easily snap a cutting, blunt remark about someone’s appearance or general self. The positive side to that, is he wouldn’t sugar coat anything; if you need good advice or an honest statement, he’s the go-to-guy. Although compliments are hard to come by, he does hand them out when he feels they need to be; he has a soft spot for tears, and will more than likely try and make you feel better. He is generally misunderstood, due to his crude first impressions and the fact that his spirit guide is a bat, but in truth the boy is simply scared of closeness between himself and anyone else. Most think him of sketchy character because he has a little bat following him everywhere, he may be brutally honest but malice doesn’t run in his veins. His easygoing nature can almost be considered reckless and erratic. He is a creature of extremes; when in a poor mood he is selfish and biting, when in a good mood he is full of humor and spirit. His severely guarded demeanor hides his sensitivity, the broken man behind the tough exterior. Despite the fact that he tries his hardest to hide his emotions, if asked about his past he doesn’t deny an inch of it; openly admitting the wrongs in his life. Flawed with a hint of rakish charm, he improves upon multiple meetings.

History;
Hid puphood is nothing special, he was the only child after a rather unsuccessful pregnancy and his parents had twin girls shortly after him. Born generally close together, Lenin spent most of his childhood with them. They were touched more so by the virus, with more extravagant colored coats. Lyssa was born with a bright magenta coat and Neva born with an abundance of colors ranging from lilac, sea green, royal blue, and pale yellow. Lenin was rather proud of his sisters, for they were vastly intelligent and talented at hunting. He taught them everything he could, spending most of his life protecting and caring for them. The adored and admired him, teaching him how command his emotions properly and woo the ladies. It was a give and take sort of sibling relationship.

When Lenin turned two, he met whom he thought at the time was the love of his life. They became mates and were soon with child. But happiness was not to be at the end of the tunnel, instead his mate miscarried the litter. Wrought with grief she blamed it on him, claiming he had bad blood and that was why his parents lost the rest of his litter. The mere idea shook him to his core, and her words were forever branded on his mind. She soon left him without saying goodbye, and that sent the poor guy over the edge. The loss of his children and his love, Lenin’s rational thinking became clouded with desperation.

The day after discovering that his mate had left him, word got out about a forest fire and Lenin thought it was a sign. Ignoring his spirit guide’s desperate attempts to stop him from his intentions, he proceeded intending to kill himself. He soon found himself standing before a very large fire ablaze with a fury. He was so lost with himself he didn’t notice his spirit guide leaving to get help, and before he knew it his sisters had been drawn into it. Lenin was hypnotized by the flames and he curiously reached out to touch them. The fur around the one toe on his right foot was instantly burned off, before the lit fur could spread the fire his sister Neva pushed him out of the way. All he heard was her scolding him angrily, before the tip of her tail caught fire. She was too emotional with the adrenaline pumping in her veins to notice immediately and it quickly traveled up her tail and on to her coat.

Lenin watched the horror unfold, and listened to both his sisters scream; one in agony, one in terror. Reacting as fast as his shock-shook body could, he tackled Neva’s body to the ground and tried aggressively to put the fire out. She lashed out in pain and confusion, scraping the place between his jaw and throat, leaving a permanent reminder. When the flames finally settled, the two wolves left standing took her charred body to the pack shaman. The whole pack worked feverishly to cure the burn wounds and find out what exactly happened; Lenin was too ashamed to even think of that day and Lyssa had gone into a prolonged form of shock, losing the ability to speak at all. Neva was beyond repair, the wounds festered and poisoned her blood. For two long days the pack listened to her scream in agony, before the Alpha finally put his daughter out of her misery.

The first words Lyssa spoke after the incident and the last words she spoke to Lenin were, “I don’t know how you could stand to stay here, everyone knows it’s your fault. They just don’t admit it…for fear you’ll endanger all our lives. Your nothing but bad luck Lenin.” He simply left without a word of reply, not looking back to the place that caused him so much guilt and pain.
