Title: Post Lengths

Okay, I want to get this off my chest.

I don't usually write long posts. Sometimes I may write very short ones. It's not because I'm lazy. I'll always do my best to give you the best descriptions to respond to and craft my posts well. I'm just incapable of writing any more than I need to - trying to pad things out just makes me start turning into the Hulk! xD Just as being long is natural for some, being short is natural for me.

And um. The idea that posts being longer makes them better and that shortness makes posts innately bad? I'll ... yeah, I end up biting my tongue over that a lot xD Because though I don't want to start arguing ... I do NOT agree.

Posts can be wonderful when they're long, and wonderful when they're short - and terrible when they're long, and terrible when they're short!

An enormous wall o' text that covers such a long period of time that it passively power-plays your character and messes with the flow of the play - or has your eyes bleeding and your brain shutting down while you wade through acres of backstory and internal monologue trying to find something, ANYTHING that your character can actually respond to ... no better than "Sprackle sed hello lol" in my opinion! Actually, I think it's worse. At least you don't have to spend very long with Sprackle xD
