Title: Musical Therapy

Freya - May 1, 2008 03:07 AM (GMT)
Freya padded though the meadow, the flowers bend under the pressure almost like they were kissing her slender legs. The ground was damp and small flowers gathered in small groups danced in the faint breeze. Oak leaves above hushed the trickleing river that bubbled happily down to the nearest lake, pond, ocean. Green blades of grass swayed to and fro matching the moss that clung to great tree trunks. And a colorfully shadow wove through the forest of beauty with it soft lyrics filling the air.

"This world will never be
What I expected
And if I don't belong
Who would have guessed it."

The black bright colored orange and red shadow sang merrily as he snapped of stems from the sky blue flowered plant. She satisfied her hunger and throat by chewing the petals. Standing up he looked around for another plant, he moved swiftly with his sleek body of black fur and gazed at the beauty around him with eyes of white powered blues.

"I will not leave alone
Everything that I own
To make you feel like it's not too late
It's never too late"

There was another visitor in the Astiri meadow, moving high above through the fresh greenery on light-golden wings. The dancing light that filtered through the trees brought out the pale flecks in his grey-green eyes, which were actively drinking in the scene. Freya tail waged abit calling out to her good friend.

"Loki mind giving a view of what lies ahead?"

When Her eyes meet his's she felt her spirit being lifted and looking though Loki vision. For miles everything looked clear feeling Freya becoming unease from being away for her body his turned back and when eye's met Freya's body she woke with a gasp and shook her head lightly.

"thanks Loki, you may rest now."

The screech of approval echoed as he dart into freya's necklace, she smiled as she continued on her way.

It was far from home for a wolf as shy as her. It was too far but she did not turn back since the fate there would be far worse. White paws padded into the large meadow and as the wolf lifted her muzzle to take in the scents of wildflower she sighed and paused to survey the sight before her. Colors from all across the spectrum covered the field and the field went on as far as the eye could see. It was a gloriously beautiful place and even from where she stood, she could see prey. A rabbit hopped through the meadow twenty meters away, oblivious to her strikingly white coat and she could not help but smile in delight. With all of these colors it would be easier to catch prey and the white wolf could not remember the last meal she had eaten.<br /><br />

Dropping into a hunter's crouch, she edged forwards, pausing at the slightest movement of the rabbit and tensing her stomach muscles to stop their yearning growls. She couldn't mess this up and she was more hungry then she could ever remember. It took a while for her to come forwards and even when she was within 5 meters, she made no movement of running for the rabbit. She couldn't mess this up. The wolf paused and placed all of her four paws on the ground firmly since if she got any closer she would surely alert the rabbit of her presence. It was a miracle the rabbit had not noticed her shining white figure but she had no time to bless her luckiness. She was far too close already and this was not how a natural wolf would hunt but it had worked so far. Now all she needed to do was catch the damn thing and then it would all be over and she could silence her demanding stomach. Leaning back on her paws she got ready to pounce but... no!<br /><br />

The rabbit darted away into the thick grass and although the white wolf followed helplessly, all she could see was the rabbit's brown tail vanishing into a small burrow she had not seen before. She could not help but bark in fury and shake her head. She had been so careful! Why had she not caught her prey? She collapsed into the soft grass and let out a deep growl of frustration. What had caused the rabbit to run away so quickly? She had been so very careful and she had come so close! She lay there in silence and closed her eyes, as if she couldn't bear to look upon the beautiful flowers any longer. <br /><br />

That was when she heard the singing. It was of a female wolf, she was sure of that but she could not recall ever hearing her before. Well of course, she was new to this land and she would not know anyone here but it made her nervous. From what she could hear, the wolf did not sound mean but how could she ever be sure? Scrambling onto her paws she made her way through the meadow quietly. <br /><br />

She did not want to speak to the wolf until she was sure that she would not hurt her but it was hard to be discreet when your pelt was as white as Clarity's. You see, her fur was completely snow white and even her eyes matched. It was not as varied as you could get with other wolves but all the same it was strange and it was far from useful when you wanted to stay in the shadows. Sometimes she wished that she was pure black instead of white, then she could sink away into the dark and no one would be able to see her but that wasn't how she had been made and now she had to live with extreme hunger and being noticed by every random animal. <br /><br />

Suddenly Clarity caught sight of a figure moving closer to her. Panicking, she ducked behind a cluster of long white snowdrops. Even behind the flowers, she was painfully obvious but even if it gave her the slightest chance of being missed by this wolf's passing eye, she was happy.

Freya - May 8, 2008 02:02 AM (GMT)
A chilly wind blew by. It was warming up, that was true, but it was still a bit chilly. Some grass parted a bit and as she ran after a rabbit that shot away. Freya narrowed her orbs. She landed where the rabbit had been at first and shot left, making a sharp turn and racing after the rabbit in less than a split second.

She lept into the air lowly and grabbed the rabbit around the neck with her teeth, biting in quickly so that no sound escaped it's mouth. Then she lept off onto a low tree branch that almost stabbed her chest and landed on a higher branch. Freya balanced the rabbit on the branch and ate quickly, licking her lips and once again, tasting the air. A warm sun beat down on the Freya as she padded forward to a patch of flowers. Her orbs were a bit hopeful and yet very conceded.

They were completely unreadable, her expression, the way she walked, everything. Nothing gave her away. She glanced sideways once or twice and the other way once or twice. Audits flicked slightly, Blue orbs narrowed. Maw opened a slit, scents flooded before maw closed. Freya twitched her ears back for a split second before getting to her paws and racing off. Once again her narrowed eyes looked around feeling some one there.

"Loki I am in need of your help."

Loki appeared in an branch speaking softly.

"with pleasure"

Loki see the wolf in the patch of long white snowdrops. Feeling wicked she crept up to the flowers singing.

"The clock strikes twelve,
the cool air blows, I've got no
fear because we're not alone"

As Freya slender body shot at the ground before her, she felt the strong wind blowing through my fur and the smell of spring flower was in the air. Her eyes caught sight of a tiny bite of white fur in the flowers.

"I see you there show yourself now."

Clarity could not help but squeeze her eyes shut as the silence lapped over her. She could hear the soft occasional crunch as the female approached and then the singing began. Each note seemed to waver over to her and now she could hear that whoever this wolf was, she now knew that Clarity was there. The singing continued and she dared not move a muscle. It was too close for comfort and although in her heart, she knew that she had been seen, Clarity did not even breath in the pathetic hope that there was the slightest chance that the wolf would continue on<br /><br />
When the words came telling her that she had been seen it was as if she had been freed from her fear. She straightened up in defeat although most of her body was still covered by the snowdrops and immediately scanned over her. Black, orange, white, red... she had been affected by the virus as well but her colors were more varied. Clarity's white eyes drifted up to the other wolf's and as she stared into the other wolf's blue orbs she could see nothing. No fear, wickedness, longing, happiness, no nothing. Clarity tightened her legs which were shielded from the new wolf's eyes because of the snowdrops. She could not help but still feel a bit cautious around this wolf and realizing she was still trying to work out this wolf's personality, she looked deeper. Nothing. At least she knew one thing- this wolf could act.
Clarity dropped her eyes after realizing how long she had been staring at the other wolf and looked down at the ground. Smells from the wolf were masked by flowers although she could catch the occasional scent, she did not recognize it. Giving up on trying to figure out who this wolf was she asked reluctantly, <font face="Verdana" color="344152" size="1">"Who are you?"</b></font><br /><br />
Her voice was shaky and unsure of itself but she had quick reactions. If this wolf even dared to touch her she would be out of the meadow within a second. She wasn't taking chances here when there was no pack around to help her out if something went wrong. Clarity felt a flash of guilt as she realized this was the first wolf she had spoken to in months and was this how she imagined it would be? She had been sure that she would be more confident but no. Apparently that was too hard and now she was ready to end it at the slightest movement of the other wolf. It wasn't that hard to have a normal conversation. Right?
