Appearance:
Arux has been given a truly unusual appearance - so rare he hasn't seen a single one like him... Well, besides his family. His family had been picked lucky and given the extreme fortunate gift of wings, and Arux is their greatest accomplishment: The wings that will let flight of the wolf. Now, let us not get ahead of ourselves. Except for these majestic wings, there isn't anything special in the appearance of Arux. He's all black (to match his personality, really - it'd be a shame if he was white), though not one set in stone black, different shades, going just a bit lighter certain places. For example, around his nose the black is slightly lighter, as well as his paws. (You might imagine this very unnatural in your head, but it's very natural, really - go look at your dog.) His wings, to match, are black, lighter and darker certain places. They are extremely large, as they need to be to carry the weight of the wolf. Arux himself isn't exactly small, either, physical power being his number one source to do anything.
Personality:
[all in the view of Arux, of course, many things in this section aren't true] Arux, to first start off, is a typical bully. By using physical power, he gets almost everything he wants. Menacing and fierce, this wolf is muchly feared around the lands. Half of his life is to make fun of younger, weaker, dumber wolves. He is always looking for a "good fight", and enjoys seeing fights, wolves getting hurt. Quite bloodthirsty, really, though not insane. He's not bloodthirsty enough to enjoy himself bleeding, though injuring Arux badly enough to made him seriously bleed is not so easy. You would assume the powerful wolf is also quite stupid, but no. It's actually the brain that keeps a powerful wolf on top, because without brain there is no strategy to fight. Of course, Arux isn't an absolute brilliance. He does know and have more then he lets on, though, that's plenty true. He could have been much better, if it wasn't his joy of making others miserable. And yes, Arux is quite a strategic fighter, and does not lose easily. (Though you may have plenty figured out that by now.)

This wolf is extremely vain, arrogant, and selfish. He talks like he's king of the world, walks like he's king of the world, thinks like he's king of the world. He cares for none except himself, "it's the way to live out here", he says. Care-free, Arux cares about nothing other creatures of this world thinks about him, only what he thinks of himself. When younger, this still quite young wolf learned to not trust in anyone, no one can be trusted. It sounds slightly dramatic, but it's what happens to wolves like him, with all logical things considered. Also, Arux must always have attention, bringing out more of his vanity and selfishness. If not in the center of attention, he will make himself so, doing usually whatever it takes.

Arux does not know how to pity, sympathize, or do anything that has to do with emotions, mostly. Cowards should not be felt sorry for, it is their fault. This boy is a rough wolf. Many bullies with strength&smarts are usually calm, laid back, and act with rough sarcasm. Not Arux, but perhaps it's just because he's still relatively oung. When he gets older, he will probably turn out like them... Then that will be true ruler of the world, for those kind of wolves are feared more than any other.

Another trait that appears in Helix quite strongly is his shamelessness, and lack of fear as well as a strong boost of self-confidence. The last two explanatory since he's such a bully, but shamelessness doesn't just come around for everyone. He will shamelessly do anything and everything, but it follows up the whole care-freeness. See? Arux isn't much special anyway, his personality is plan-able. Then comes the issues of females... Females. Arux despises most females. They do not know how to fight, do not share that passion. There are only a few that actually come close to how a male wolf hates, how a male wolf bullies, and those Arux gives a bit of credit to. This shows that Arux doesn't flirt, isn't a "ladies man", or anything else for the matter. Females, to him, are stupid. They gotta prove they have something, or they'll remain forever ignored in the Book of Arux. Though true, Arux is still young...
History:
Arux was born to the family of Vengrads, which was one of the few families with wings. Most of them were high and mighty because they were so "special", so when Arux was born they held themselves even higher and considered themselves the greatest. As tradition in the Vengrad family Arux was given a Mouse as his Spirit Animal, and yes, with a capital M. Mice have always been together with the Vengrad family - though some say it's a shame that such puny little creatures are the great family's Spirit Animal. When Arux was born, he was given a Mouse by the name of Jinx. Jinx matched Arux in color, he as all black. But in personality they differed a lot, which is unusual for most, as Wolf and Spirit Animal tend to share lots in common.

Jinx was a cheery little fellow, while Arux was raised so spoiled and uplifted because of his gift. He became what he is today because of his family - so not all him, aye? While Jinx was treated average Mouse - but always was cheery and helpful. And ladidadia, they grew up, Arux literally shunning Jinx and almost killing him. However, it seems that Jinx does fear Arux, despite the fact he could kill him any day. Ladidadia, more growing up, and then came the day when Arux was thrown out even with his amazing ability: He killed some family member. Yadiyadida, he didn't trust any of them anymore, though he didn't much in the first place. This was around half a year ago; now he has earned his reputation around certain places, and yeehaw starts the life of Arux from now.
