Hi Everyone :carly: ,
So I am finally back! I think I spent more time traveling than
I did in Boise, but it was SO worth it! As you can guess from the setlist, Carly was fantastic.

I did get to see Carly before the show and I gave her the "I promises" that everyone put together. She was very excited to look at them and really liked them a lot! She said to say hi to everyone and thank you for all of your support.

She sent a special thanks to everyone that has been working on the friends list project. She said that is the most important thing we can be doing to help her right now and she appreciates all the hard work everyone has put in so much.

I also met Melinda Doolittle, Jon Peter Lewis and Rickey Smith. Can I tell you that they are some of the nicest and talented people? Please be sure to check out their music - I was very impressed with all of their kindness and musical ability!

She is doing really well. She is so happy and still working very hard on her music. She mentioned that she is taking her time because she wants her album to be something that she and her fans are so proud of. She doesn't want to rush things and have something that is not as good as she wants.

She sends her love to everyone and said she misses you guys. She can't wait to see everyone again and I told her she should do a show on the east coast since so many of you live on this side of the US.

The concert was amazing. Like I said, everyone was really good. Melinda ROCKED Declaration of Love by Celine, Jon Peter Lewis has some really great well written music. I had never heard Rickey Smith before and he has a great voice.

Carly sang all of her songs in a row, 3 on each side of intermission.

She also sang Higher Ground with the other 3 at the end of the show. They all had so much fun singing it and the audience had fun too.

Her voice is so strong and as always, I was impressed with her stage presence and professionalism. She performed barefoot and is completely at home on stage. The audience loved her. There were 2 little "mosh pits" of mostly young girls on the left and right sides of the stage dancing. It was a great crowd.

I was so glad to hear her sing Barracuda finally - it was just as awesome as I imagined it would be. And I always love Come Together. Carly put her own twist on Roxanne and it was so powerful - almost haunting. I'm not a huge fan of the song, but she truly made me love it - she gave me chills singing it.

After intermission, she came out with Call Me When You're Sober - That song suits Carly so well. It fits her voice and she totally rocked it. After that she asked if there were any Twilight fans in the audience and everyone screamed. I really love Decode and so loved hearing her sing this!!! She was all over the stage and the most pit was loving it. After the show they did an autograph line and I saw Carly sign a girl's Edward keychain :rotfl:

So then Carly was talking about working on new music and introduced a song that she had written on tour this summer and would be on her album...Let Me Fall. Can I just say that I LOVE this song? Because I do. It's so amazing. And I'm done gushing. (but it's true).

It was a great show and I am so glad that I went. I can't say it enough, but that girl's voice...wow.

My camera was acting up and gave me a lot of trouble. The sound even cuts out where I zoomed. <_< . I was so mad because I wanted to get more video for you guys, but I did the best I could. I had to find someone to give me new batteries at intermission so I could keep recording. I got most of Let me Fall at least and a lot of Barracuda, and a teeny bit of Roxanne. I'm so sorry I missed the rest.

I am putting them on YouTube for everyone. I'll update my post with the links as soon as they are done.

The teacher that my mom works with just became a fan when she watched the movie last month, and now she LOVES it...well even though my bday was April 3, she is giving me my present a little late, and in November, she is gonan take me to a New Moon midnight premiere!!!I am SUPER excited!!!
