I've been wanting to start this thread forever .... glad somebody did.

Not much to tell about me. I live a boring life outside Carly. I know I've done this before so bear with me.

Let's see .... I'm a 54 year old grandfather of two. I live in the suburbs of Houston, and work closer to the city as a manufacturing engineer in the energy industry. Our customers design the technology, we actually build it. Yeah I know, boring. My only "hobby" anymore really is Carly. I used to play golf, and at one time was a darn good bowler. I was a hardcore PC gamer until several months ago. As such, I built all my own computers for that purpose. I love history, especially ancient Egypt. But again, I don't do much of that anymore either. I am married (I think everyone knows that by now). It's my second marriage (and my last, regardless). I have two teenage daughters and my son is older than most of you! Physically, I'm 5'10", 155 soaking wet, blue eyes, light brown hair with some gray ..... not much to look at. I'm half German and half Swedish (or as I say, sweetish, lol).
Oh and I love to grill. I'm not real good at it, but if you can't grill a little, you ain't Texan :haha: .
