Hey everyone,

I was going to give a whole transcript, but with the choppy random talk, I am going to post the important stuff that Carly has mentioned and things fans want to see. It had to be confirmed it was her so it took up a lot of the chat.

First part is when Marie, Derm, and Nikki came in and talked to everyone. There's was real short, but I will post their hellos. And anything else like their mentioning of the gifts.

No problem on the file Jennie, glad to help. Yes, this was a very exciting chat and Carly is so cool for doing it. It's great to hear that the album is coming along so well and Carly seems very happy. Can't wait to hear more!!! :ipod: :carly:

Music/Album
It's going well. She is taking her time because she wants it to be perfect, and thinks it will be done in 2 to 3 months. She said she has recorded approximately 6 singles.
She will be working with writer Steve McMorran, who wrote for David Archuleta's album. She has also worked with Chris DeStefano, who helped her with "Let Me Fall" and "Lay With Me". She said she would post the lyrics for these songs "later".
She would not confirm if she would be working with Chris Daughtry, or who the "Season 5 rocker" was that she hinted she might be working with in a previous blog.

Other career info
The new photo on her web space is for a photo shoot that will be used to revamp her myspace page. The revamping will take place this week and will be done by Carly with the help of someone from her management company.

Personal Stuff
Her tattoo is indeed complete.
She recently bought a new car - a Chevy Tahoe
Carly was in San Diego for the chat because she and Todd were celebrating Todd's 30th birthday.
She wasn't mad that people didn't believe it was really her when she joined the chat - in fact she appreciated that people wanted to make sure it was really her.

You pretty much cleared everything up and some people might even prefer to read it that way since it was so randomly put, but I don't like putting words in people's mouths so I decided to put exactly what was asked and what Carly replied, but you did a very good job with keeping it at exactly what Carly said.

I think putting in the actual transcript is just as important as my summary, if not more so. They can read a summary to get the idea of what was said but can check for themselves in the transcript - plus it's cool to see what Carly, Marie, etc. actually wrote. B)

Well if all of this info she gave us is true (which we all know it is), then it looks like there is some pretty awesome, exciting stuff coming up! We've been patient for so long and now we're finally going to get rewarded! I cannot wait for the new myspace, new photos, new music, and anything else she has coming up for us! B)

I'm glad to hear that Carly has been making a lot of progress with the album. It sounds like she's been hard at work writing new material. And she collaborated with Steve McMorran? He wrote what is possibly my favourite track from David Archuleta's album, "Waiting For Yesterday." If you guys haven't heard the song before, you definitely should!

Regarding the possible Daughtry collaboration, it seems like a situation where the more it's denied, the more it's true....however, can't be confirmed in the event it falls through.
