Hey All

So I just wanted to start by saying a big THANK YOU !!!! To my girls at Carlysangeles.net . I got back to the tattoo shop yesterday to find an amazing christmas gift of Ms. Monroe . I love her so much . She is such an icon and you guys once again know me so well . I will hang her on my wall for inspiration :-)

It was so nice to get a break and let my head be empty for a few days . Charleston is such a beautiful city and it killed us to leave .
My brother in law (after six pints of blood) is doing great and returned home before we left for LA so we got to spend some time with him .
It was amazing to visit the Children in MUSC . I didn't post pictures cause I want to respect the privacy of the kids . We all met in the toy room and hung out together for a bit . I sang for all the kids with my niece and nephew and then took pictures with them after . There were a few that were too weak to leave their rooms so we took a tour with the staff and made sure we got to wish them all Merry Christmas . One little girl broke my heart though . She waited to see me all morning and when I got to her room she had been in too much pain that the doctors gave her morphine . It put her into a deep sleep so her mom asked me to sit beside her and get a photo so she knew we didn't forget her .
So back to work now after a rocky Christmas but an awesome one too . I'm so excited this week cause I am finally selling my car and buying a new one . As much as I love my car she has served me well and it is time to move on .

Not only an amazing woman but special,caring,and a heart of gold.
Things like this make her the wonderful person she is.I'm sure that was an amazing visit for the children.

Children's hospitals make me so sad. It's so kind of her to go see the kids.

That is so sweet of her to visit the sick kids at the hospital. She is such a sweet and caring person. She will make a great mother.

That is the sweetest thing ever. That is so amazing that she finds time to spend her holiday with those sick children. That girl has an amazing heart, and hearing about that just makes me respect her even more. Truly, I think Carly is one of the most amazing people on this planet.

I was so happy to see her blog-seems like she's keeping us updated more, which is a good sign. The part about the kids was so sweet and just shows what an amazing person she is. Not only is she extremely talented, but she's very caring too. Good to hear that she's back to work on her music so hopefully we'll be hearing some good news soon. YAY!!! :ipod: :carly:

Is Carly the most amazing person ever or what? I'm glad to hear that she's going back to work - I think that's a good sign. Funny though, I thought I knew Carly pretty well but I never knew she liked Marilyn Monroe. I would love to buy her old car .... ;)

I hope we get some updates soon on her music/getting signed and the Inside Edition piece she mentioned. I just have a feeling that good things are gonna start happening soon. I really hope so. :ipod: :carly:

That would be really cool to get her old car! I would probably spend most of my time in it ;) I'd look for excuses to drive.

I wonder what kind of car she bought. It's probably a nice one, especially if she's using the money she made on the tour. I hope we see pictures :camera: :carly:
