Hey everyone,

First, I want to mention I have not disappeared. I have been keeping quiet, but only because I am working on somethings to help out with Carly. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it all works properly and that it will become useful for everyone in 2009. I know I also haven't updated the Street Team myspace much lately because I didn't want to add too much until I change it, which will be more organized and more up to date at the beginning of the new year. I was just trying to figure out a way to keep the space from getting cluttered. I'm not very good when it comes to all this high tech myspace stuff, but I think I figured out a way.

Other then that I have still been working on the friends request. And a reminder if you haven't already please sign up for your region. And continue the great work with spreading the word online about Carly. Everyone is doing such a great job and it's showing especially through her myspace friends. She went from under 10,000 to above in a month and a half!! So keep up the amazing work, because this will help Carly so much more in the long run!

I'm not planning on letting out too much information on what is going to be put on the myspace because I want to keep it a little more of a mystery and just incase one thing doesn't work I won't be saying this will be on there and then not, but I am working on a montage for the myspace. I've only done a couple, so I'm definitely no professional, but I hope you guys will like it anyways! I will post it as soon as I finish it.

The other thing I wanted to post was a few thank you's.

Cheryl, Mel, and Shelly. Thank you for creating this Fansite and fanforum. I wouldn't know half the people that I know now and this place is really a great place for fans to come together for Carly, so great that even her own family likes coming here and that says a lot, especially with all the things that come along with a fanbase. This place is one of the most organized and well ran places I've ever been to. You three do so much and I personally appreciate it more then anything to know such dedicated Carly fans.

Carly's Angels. Thank you all for being such good friends and supporting Carly in the best way possible. Every one of you have not only been supportive of Carly, but each other no matter what and you put a lot of time and effort in things without letting any random circumstances get in the way, such as myspace jerks and don't put up with any crap from people who don't even know Carly. She's lucky to have all of you as fans.

Marie and Family. Thank you for being so supportive with the fans and taking the time to have weekly chats with us no matter how crazy and overwhelming it could be, you always made the effort. Especially with her official page, I can only imagine how much time it's taken you to work on that space every day with some kind of update from Carly and just taking the time to learn how to work a myspace page. You don't see mothers or family members getting that involved with fans to the point they are just as close to you as they are with the actual artist. You've been a big inspirition to all of us and have always been so sweet and caring.

Carly. Thank you for coming into our lives and giving us the opportunity to you, your wonderful family, and the friends that I have made throughout your AI journey. I can not wait to watch you grow with your music in 2009 and the rest of your career. I will be following you every step of the way and hope that I get to meet even more wonderful people who have the same interest. You have been a big inspirition to me and so many of your fans and I could not ask for more. I wish you the best for the new year.

its amazing how one person can change your life sooo much. when i think of all carly has done for me in my life, i think of how she did the same for all of you too, and SOOOOO many others. from signing autographs to saving lives, she has impacted so many people. because of carly, we all became friends, and i have to say that everyone i have met on these boards has changed my life as well, and i am so grateful for all of you :) i know i'm a better person now than when 2008 started, and you have all helped me get that far and improve myself. because of carly and her fanboards, my 2008 has been really rocky and hard at times, but pretty much the best year of my life. i wouldnt change a second of it.


so...... here's to 2009! may carly's career fly sky high, and may all of us stay friends :)

I agree. I mean I can't even imagine that just a year ago, most of us didn't even know each other. We were just getting onto the Carly train. It is amazng how far Carly's career came in 2008 and it will only get better in 2009.

I second all of you guys' sentiments. 2008 was such a great year with seeing Carly on the show and the tour and making friends with all of you guys, but I think 2009 is going to be even more amazing. It is crazy to think about the fact that one person can make such a huge impact on life. Honestly when I think of myself last year at this time, I see a totally different person. Carly has made me so happy and has truly made me a better person. And all of you guys are just so great. I'm so glad I joined this website. Without you guys, I honestly don't know where I would be today. I know we are going to stick together through this time of waiting so when the good news starts to come in (which I'm sure will be really soon), we can all celebrate together!! :party:

and i know right! things have changed SO MUCH!!!! its really crazy. like this time last year, i was stuck with school and stress and what have you. i'm pretty much in the same spot now, except that i have all of you here, plus so many great memories, and a true change in character. carly has taught me to be grateful for everything, even the bad things because i can learn from them. she also taught me to never give up, and that's the one thing i will never ever forget. :)
