Christmas Day 2008
Merry Christmas My Friends ,

Today I am in Charleston SC with my husband and my American family " The Smithsons ". My husband is from this beautiful city so we try to get back and visit his family whenever we can .

Unfortunatly Christmas got off to a rocky start for us this year . My brother in law got very sick on Tuesday night and was brought to the ER . Without giving you all to much information thankfully his situation is looking up and he might be able to return home tomorrow afternoon . My niece and nephew are 4 and 7 so waking up without their daddy on Christmas morning was a little stressful for them both but we pulled off Santa Claus and videoed the whole experience to take to him in the hospital . Watching them open their gifts is always so funny .

My Mom is in South Africa for Christmas with her sisters family and my sister Shannon this year . I installed my sister in laws DSL yesterday so I was able to video chat on Skype with my whole family this morning in Africa before breakfast . Africa was a little too far for me this year as I am too busy with work but hopefully next year I will get to visit with my family for Christmas in Ireland cause its been 5 years and I miss them so much . After breakfast we packed up and went over to the hospital with gifts where we watched "A Christmas Story" in the ward with my brother in law . After we got back we didnt really have time to cook a big dinner so I think we're gonna save all our Turkey and potatoes for tomorrow .

Todd totally tricked me this year with my gift . Firstly he bought it infront of me without me even noticing and then he put it in a pirate ship lego box before he wrapped it . I totally thought he had bought me a lego ship . I was super pissed . My face was so relieved when I opened the box and found a beauiful Coach purse inside . Good job Todd !!!! When he asked me before Christmas what I wanted I said , " Warm , Soft and Medium " so he got me Victora Secret PJs too . Yay !!!!

It's now 10 pm , I've washed the kids , Put their pjs on and with a few Mimosas in me I'm ready for a competitive game of Star Wars Monopoly . Thanks to you guys this new year looks bright for me and my music . January is full of exciting writing oppertunities for me including one with a certain Season 5 rocker whos RAD Hint Hint ....Yay !!!!! This album is really taking shape and I can't wait for you all to hear it .

Tomorrow I'm visiting with the Childrens Hospital here in Charleston before dinner so I will let you all know how that goes . There are many sick children there so I hope to bring some joy to them this holiday . I'm off to Monopoly now :-) Merry Christmas to you all . Lets make 2009 a blast !!!

A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Hi All,

I Am just back from Cape Town where I spent a wonderful Christmas with my sister and family, next year I am going to spend it with Carly for sure as she could not come due to so much work commitments.

I just wanted to really wish you guys a great New Year, I hope it will be a most magical one for everyone.
You are really special people and I want to thank each and every one of you for helping to take Carly where she is right now and to the hights she will reach next year with the grace of God.
The support is unreal at times i just get so overwhelmed by you.

The internet where we were staying in the mountains was really non existant so I have to thank Kelli for passing my wishes on to you all through the site.

So Carly had been so busy before she left LA for Charlston for the break.
I loved the vids of Brook and Carly doing the duet.

I see Richards interview went down very well and as usual he did us proud, I only got to see it at the airport lounge on the internet there before my flight, it was really great to read and listen before i got on the plane.
So well done Richard, he is such a pet and we hold him so dearly to us.

Then when I get home to the package from Carly's Angels full of good wish letters and cards and thank god for the tissues as i was all out, they came in handy as I read all your wishes for myself and my family,and im sure on the rest of our journey might get a bit teary so I will keep them close by!!!

You all know me so well and i absolutly thank you all so very much for everything you did in 2008.

So we have so much to look forward to in 2009
