Ok so this thread is really important that I need you guys to read carefully and get back to me with on asap.

First of all for those who aren’t aware exactly what the street team is about, it’s a great way for all the fans to work as a team with ideas on how to promote Carly on the net and especially on the streets. To get word out about her music and herself as a person, considering how close us fans have gotten to her already by just following her so far through this journey.

Which, in all leads to the idea that Shelly, Cheryl, and I have come up with… We would split up the regions into sections by time zone such as Eastern would be a region and then Central would be a region and so on. So each region can take on their tasks as a team, especially when it comes down to future projects that we will be working on. And to keep it even more organized, if you guys show the interest in it then we will also be selecting region leaders.

The region leaders will be the ones responsible in making sure that their region knows what projects to be working on, giving out ideas, relaying what is being done back to us so we’re all aware of what is going on and they have to be very dedicated to this. We are not half way going to do this, it’s either all in or not at all. This is Carly’s starting point in a major career for her dreams. It can make or break her in a second. And it’s the fans that will be doing the making or breaking.

Here are a couple examples of how it would all work during projects.

Example 1: 20,000 Carly fans by Christmas

There will be a thread with a list of artists in categories that we know of for a fact that have/are:
;; Carly fans such as Jason Castro, David Cook, David Archuleta, Brooke White, etc.
;; A cd, concert, or movie coming out for us to congratulate the favorite artist on.
;; Fans of an artist that Carly has done a song from.

After the thread is made the Region Leaders can choose one of the categories of artists/actress friends lists and taking that list and splitting up a few people with a certain amount of pages and who’s friends list to start working so no one is working on the exact same people when sending the messages.

We will have that all set up as far as how many per page and such as well, the region leaders do not have to do that, just as long as they are assigned so the fans can start working on it.

Example 2: Radio Requests

Once Carly’s single comes out, it’s going to be a major thing to make sure the fans are requesting her song because that will help in so many ways in promoting her, most of the time if a DJ likes the artist they will even promote her on their own time on air without us having to say anything, but we have to make sure they see she has a lot of people wanting to listen to her because if they see an artist is bringing in a bigger population of crowds then they will continue to playing it for their benefit of the station also.

So the Region Leaders will be responsible in making sure their region is getting this done. Keep up with a list of radio stations that are playing her music in each region by the help of your region giving that info as well as you can say cheering them on and reporting back to the street team or the thread of your region with this information so we’re all aware of who is doing what and if more work needs to be done in some areas.



There will be threads of each Region, that is where you will go to discuss what's happening in your areas and discuss ideas together and report to with anything that you have done, including pictures, videos, and stories of how you are promoting Carly. Anyone can read the threads, but try to keep it on topic as much as possible. It's also where the Region Leader can discuss what they want to see done. Not saying just one person is calling the shots, because this can only be done as a team, but to have one person who can keep it as organized as possible and making sure it's happening helps so much.

Right now all I need to know is what you guys think of this and it would help to know right away so we can get started as soon as possible.

I'd like to help too, so count me in. I have a lot of stuff coming up at work but I'll still make time to help promote Carly. I don't think I can be a leader but I'll join one of the regional teams. :grouphug: :carly:

As Jennie said, our first project will be getting Carly more friends on myspace. Let's get the word out there about our girl!! :w00t:

I love it. It'll be much more easier that way, cause not everyone would have to split their attention to everything, everywhere...

About our current project of getting Carly's page more friends, i'm all for getting to each and every person on myspace (well, lets keep it realistic - getting to as many people possible.), whether it has to do with Carly or not. Just like alot of artists promote themselves, i'm sure all of us got requests from artists on myspace.
of course we will go first to all the idols pages and to pages of artists who relate to Carly, but you get my point.

Anyway, if you havn't figured it out yet, i'm in :P (wait, are the regions will be devided by our location? :blink: ah, just put me anywhere you want to :P )

I'm a little confused as to what we need to do on the MySpace project. Are we just going to the other Idols' friends lists and sending messages about joining Carly's MySpace? If so, how do we know which pages to do so we aren't sending multiple messages and is there a canned message we're sending with maybe a picture or graphic of Carly? Finally, how do we get their MySpace website addresses to go to their friends lists? I can help with this project but I just need a few pointers. Thanks.

Amy - We are working on getting this project up and going... you will be divided into teams based on regions. So, I guess, right now you don't need to do anything... we will start this project soon. :)

I have given this alot of thought.I have about two hours a day to give to this project,so I think a leader is out of the question.Also I've seen another project started and not finished because people didn't give a hundred percent and finish what they started.I don't want to be a leader and end up with having to do the whole thing myself if people don't follow through.Sorry.Also my 4yr old gave me a wake up call and I really need to get my priorites straight as to what is more important.
I am willing to give two hours a day to help message people if you want my help.

wait, now that i've thought about it better, what are the reasons for us to do everything this way?
I mean, why not everyone work together? We're not that big of a group too so..
I'm just not sure if we have more power as a few devided groups than as a whole group.

We are all still working together, but some of the things we are going to be doing is going to need that specific attention in that region or that state and since we're not all in the same time zone it makes it easier to have a leader for each that can guide everyone in the right direction of what they can do to promote carly.

Plus, it's not just going to be here at Carly's Angels, this also will have a lot to be done on the street team myspace as well. And we want to try to get all Carly fans involved. So it's not just a carlys angels project.

I don't want anyone to think that we're not going to be working as a team and are just divided together, because it's not like that at all.

I hope that all makes sense.

Me, my sis and my cousins Connor and Emily are already planning which radio stations we are going to request Carly on!!!!!! Cant wait :w00t:

How soon before we get started?,I am finding extra time right now.Things are going to get crazy with the postal service once we get through Thanksgiving and I will be working longer days until after New Years.So if you got something for me to work on right now-I could give more time.I'm ready to go!
