I'm not a huge braniac when it comes to music, so I looked up what an octave is on wikipedia, and the descriptions were confusing and there were complex math formulas. Then I went to youtube and listened to Amy Lee's octave range and another video that showcased octave ranges of rock and pop singers. So from what I listened to I assume it has something to do with how high and low an artists voice can go. Does anyone know (or can estimate) Carly's octave range? :ipod:
