One of my favorite movies is "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". It was a big achievement in film when it was released in 1989: it combines live action and animated characters living side-by-side.
The film takes place in 1947 Hollywood, where cartoon characters (referred to as "Toons") and human beings live side-by-side. Cartoon star Roger Rabbit is framed for murder, and he enlists the help of Toon-hating detective Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) to figure out who really did it.
I love this movie so much! I've thought about naming a daughter Jessica, after Roger Rabbit's human wife, Jessica Rabbit.
Who else likes this movie?
wait a minute. Jessica was a Toon wasn't she? Jessica, voice of Kathleen Turner.
